Burton NZ Open champion at Snow Park NZ was held in New Zealand in the middle of winter, on the other side of Japan in the middle of summer.
In the men's halfpipe, the Japanese team showed strength, and it was a feat that five people entered the top 2 including Ryo Aono who passed the second place in the semifinal.Among them, Kazuhiro Kokubo won the championship, and Daisuke Murakami came in third.
In the Super Final, the top three players had a great chance to improve their score on their fourth run.There, Kazuhiro Kokubo and Daisuke Murakami show off their powerful height and wide range of performances.
Daisuke Murakami had the best trick of 1080 tail grab on the front side, but he failed to make the final landing, so he gave Kazuhiro Kokubo the victory.
Kazuhiro Kokubo, who won the victory, said, "I tried to create my own style in skiing. I wanted to win not only in the match but also in skiing with style."
