BEGINNING 8 was held at Kawaba Ski Resort in Gunma Prefecture for two days from August 18th (Sat) to 19th (Sun).The concept of this event is the connection between people, centered on the horizontal of snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing.This event is the 2th time this time. The weather was fine for two days, and I was blessed with the most comfortable conditions ever.
BEGINNING has created many connections from adults to children this year as well.I would like to tell you what the FREERUN editorial department actually participated in and noticed about its appeal.

Camping, LIVE, skating, workshops and a great deal of content
BEGINNING is a two-day event where you can gather at a ski resort in the summer and enjoy various activities such as camping and live performances.Participants range from snowboarders, skaters, surfers and other human lovers to those who come for artists and enjoy summer mountain camps.
It goes without saying that the outdoor LIVE where you listen while enjoying the natural air is super comfortable.There are plenty of activities that you can enjoy in the wilderness, such as party time where you can eat fruits for free, yoga for everyone, and a powerful bungee trampoline.
Enjoy BBQ while listening to good music, and participate in workshops with friends and family.There are so many summer contents that you can't write here, such as campfires and fireworks, as if you were reminiscent of a forest school when you were a kid.
What is interesting is that many people camp by setting up tents on each floor of the multi-storey car park of the ski resort, in addition to the outdoor camping style.Mountain camps are volatile and can sometimes be hit by heavy rain, but with this parking tent style you don't have to worry about it.
In addition, there is a ticket called "empty camp site ticket" that even beginners can participate in with confidence.This means that you can stay in a tent (for 3 to 4 people) and space prepared in advance at the venue.It is easy for people who want to start camping from now on.
Another thing to note is that there is a huge skate park in the three-dimensional parking lot.With concrete specifications that make it easy to run on the sliding surface, it is a skating paradise with sections of various sizes, from ramps to street items.Lessons by professional skaters were held here, and it was very popular with kids.
Other activities such as Sabage and flat skimboarding are being developed in this parking lot, making it a huge amusement park.

Of course, it is important to work hard and play.But sometimes, I pull out the part where I pull out my mind and body and reset it.So, when I do it, I do it well.The balance is important for people.
This venue is full of pure feelings, "I really want to enjoy what I like."Because there is such a "horizontal vibes", you can naturally connect with your friends.I felt that the atmosphere of such an unpretentious event is the charm of this BEGINNING.Communicating with a natural feeling in the great outdoors creates a deep connection that is not limited to the surface.I think that's what this event wants to convey.
