US Route 395
US Route 395 is a series of prints directly influenced by Edo ukiyo-e artist Hiroshige Utagawa's Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido. The feature of this work is that the spirit of these works drawn in several places along the highway from California to Canada along the Eastern Sierra Nevada range can be said to be with the spirit of Hiroshige. He has spent time camping, fishing and collecting geological data on this route.Later, this place became a notch to remind him of his strong desire to portray the charm of nature.Glittering salt ponds, vast deserts, and endless granite connections represent the terrain diversity on this highway. The road cut point on this highway, or cut-out, is where you can feel the dynamically undulating shape of the earth. These works are a testament to the magnificent, majestic, and daring folklore.
