Ski resorts are opening one after another This month, we rediscover the charm of snowy mountains in Japan.
Last season, various overseas riders visited Japan because of the interesting snow quality and terrain of Japan.
Watching their trips, we look back on our beloved Japanese snowy mountain & snowboard culture.
Somehow, I have a feeling that I can enjoy the mountains more than last year.

The movie TRUE TO THIS that VOLCOM dropped this fall was shocking.Above all, Bryan Iguchi's slip is so intense and original that you can see it.I literally trembled with an aggressive slip that didn't make me feel old.Iguchi who had a great influence on the scene at a young age.Even now, when he turned 41 this fall, he continues to evolve.

~ Two weeks spent by the pathology crew in Hokkaido ~
Brian Fox, Austin Smith, and their friends' winter snowboard film “Pathology”.They first visited Hokkaido in early January to shoot the work.As soon as we arrived in Niseko, an incredible heavy snow welcomed them.Starting from there, it's like a dream for two weeks.

A culture called snow surf that spreads from Niseko to the world.The North American patagonia crew aimed at the center of the culture.The traveling members were accompanied by surfer Gerry Lopez.Colin Wiseman of the snowboard magazine "frequency" from North America approaches Niseko through the culture rooted in this area.

This year, we will focus on the HOT SPOT of each resort with the theme of "playing with free riding".Please check out the recommended spots.The posted slopes are Urabandai Nekoma Ski Resort, Hakuba Iwatake Ski Resort, Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort, Kawaba Ski Resort, Marunuma Kogen Ski Resort, Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, and Charmant Hiuchi Ski Resort.
