At COWDAY2022, in addition to the online video contest that was very popular online last season, a slopestyle competition was held at the Hakuba47 ski resort. By holding two tournaments a year, snowboarding will be lively throughout the year.
The slopestyle event is a hot event where Japanese people are expected to play an active role in the Beijing Olympics this season.Live streaming is also planned on the day of the tournament.

FIS COWDAY SLOPE Implementation Guidelines
event date: March 3-March 28 (including public practice days)
Venue: HAKUBA47 Ski Resort R4 Course
Event: Slope style
Prize money: Total 120 million yen (1st place 30 yen, 2nd place 20 yen, 3rd place 10 yen for both men and women)
Competition rules: Two runs will be held for each person in both the qualifying and the final. The ranking is decided based on the best point system that adopts the highest score from the two. It is a judgment system that is performed on a 1-point scale.

COWDAY FILM Implementation Guidelines
Purpose: A general post-type video / photo contest with the theme of expression.By holding a tournament focusing on video expression, we will pursue the possibility of video expression on snowboards.
Application period: From June 2022, 6 to August 1, 2022 (must arrive)
Entries: We have multiple application departments.Please check which recruitment department your work corresponds to before applying.In addition, there are restrictions on the length of the work for each department.
Application method:
(1) Please fill in the required items from the special entry form and send it with the submitted work. (Please use a file transfer service such as file service for the submitted work)
(2) After sending the entry form, the COWDAY secretariat will send you a confirmation email and transfer information for the participation fee (3000 yen), so please transfer to the designated account. (Customers are responsible for the deposit fee.)
* Please make the transfer within 5 days after sending the email.
(3) After confirming payment, you will receive an email from the COWDAY secretariat.This completes the application.

Qualification requirements: It must be composed of images taken in the 21/22 season.It must be an unpublished work.Participation by individuals or groups is possible.The shooting location of the work does not matter.Regarding the memory section, there is no designation such as memories with friends, family, and couples.However, the memories are limited to those made at the ski resort.
Regarding the submitted work: After the screening results are announced, the submitted videos will be released on the COWDAY YouTube channel all at once.
* However, only the submitted works in the feature film category will be released all at once on September 2022, 9, before the announcement of the judging.Regarding the order of the videos at the time of publication, we will publish in the order of entry.
Judging and awards
Judging announcement: Starts October 2022th and 10th, 8 (planned)
The screening and awards ceremony for the prize-winning works will be broadcast live on the COWDAY YouTube channel.
Examination method:We will perform the first and second screenings.Winners of each ministry will be decided from the works remaining in the second screening. (The feature film section does not fall under the above method).The COWDAY executive committee (3 members) will score the first screening based on the screening criteria.
The top 1 works scored per category will proceed to the second screening.
In the second screening, the judges (5 people) selected by the COWDAY executive committee will score based on the screening criteria.

What is COWDAY?
