I want to ski cool on the slopes and in the mountains / Ayumi Kitahara

Ayumi Kitahara is currently based in Gunma prefecture.
Although she was suffering from injuries, she was active and worked positively, so what did she think during rehabilitation and after returning?

— What have you been doing lately?
Kitahara: I have been working on a Gunma basis since last year.In the summer, I went to Australia for a month while surfing and snowboarding in the car.During the season, I participate in competitions and events while working at Kawaba Ski Resort's Marasaki Sports.I've been skiing on the slopes and recently climbing a little mountain.

— I think you've had a hard time because you've been suffering from injuries.I think you're back in shape this season, how is it?
Kitahara: It's painful when I get injured, but I was looking forward to snowboarding again and rehabilitating. I had an operation on the meniscus in September, but I was able to do my best little by little, so this year also had a good season.I usually like to move my body, but I also read books slowly. I think it was a time when I found a lot of "what I want to do after returning to the snow".

-Did you feel "afraid of getting injured" after returning? I think that 19 years when you won the AIR MIX was the season when you made a comeback. How was it?
Kitahara: At first, I was a little worried, but I didn't feel particularly negative, and I wanted to surf and snowboard much sooner. After returning, I was happy to be able to move again, so I enjoyed the process of being able to slide little by little.

—What are your goals for snowboarding now?
Kitahara: I had a little fun doing natural snowboarding for the first time this year, so I'm thinking of trying a little more next year.I also want to win the Tenjin championship and participate in Baker's Banked tournament.I want to ride cool on the slopes.

— What are you planning to do for the rest of the season?
Kitahara: I'm in Gunma until the beginning of April, but for the rest of the season, I'm thinking of staying in the car and moving to a place with snow while skiing.I want to surf when it's warm ...We plan to move according to the mood and conditions at that time.

— What kind of snowboarding do you want to do in the future?
Kitahara: I want to continue snowboarding happily every day.I like to travel around, so I want to see a lot of the world in Japan and abroad.
