In order to prevent the infection of the new coronavirus, the "Kurumayama Observatory Lift", which leads to the mountaintop overlooking the spectacular view, was suspended, but it was decided to resume operations while taking measures against infectious diseases.
Currently, day lilies are in full bloom from the bottom to the middle of the slope, and it is in full bloom.After this, the peak of flowering moves to the upper part of the slope, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery until the end of July. The time when you can see the full bloom of Nikkokisuge, which has a short flowering time of one week, is right now!Why don't you find time to visit the open grasslands?
Nikkokisuge is an edible flower that can also be used as a Chinese ingredient.However, perhaps because of its deliciousness, the deer's eating is serious.In March of this year, Kurumayama Kogen launched the "Nikko Kisuge Regeneration Project" to expand the range of electric fence installations.As a result, it has become possible to enjoy Nikko Kisuge in a wider area than last year.In this project, in addition to the electric fence all-mountain siege net, activities such as planting day lilies seeds and seedlings with local children will be carried out, and we plan to work together with the community to regenerate the grassland.
