Travis Rice is came back to Nagano with one filmer after The Fourth Phase's big filming project in 2years ago.one filmer. One brain!
On the first day of coming to Nagano, we stayed at Zenkoji's inn, cleansed ourselves with vegetarian food, and the next day, we experienced the morning affairs of Zenkoji at sunrise.
While living at the knees of Zenkoji, I also experienced it for the first time.Travis is really digging the latest and ancient culture of Japan and is really interested in Japan and trying to study.There is an image of oraora, but he is a very gentle and delicate big man.

then We moved to “no snow yet” Hakuba.after spent few days, it started to snowing like Nuts ,, 3days, over 1meter like 4feet.
One night there came Mik ”Shark puncher” Fanning from ocean of Australia, so we went to see him to say Hi!
From there, I moved to Hakuba before it snowed. Heavy snow starts 3 days later.Heavy snowfall exceeding 3m in 1 days in Hakuba village.

The tournament organizers were so happy that they didn't think the Japanese would be on the podium.I don't know how great the other riders are, but I've come to them with a lot of life, so I did it at this tournament!I was so happy!Recently, the number of trophies that I thought I had little connection with was increasing.
Even so, Travis was amazing.I was shown a terrible slip that the ranking did not change even if I made a miracle.

Then, the end day of a week storming, there was an Asian's first held FreerideWorldTours4stars event in Hakuba and We decided to enter it. Mostly Travis's decision, but. I pulled no.1start on rottery and this photo above was the venue.side of Happo-o-ne. I rode knee deep steep pow and hit pillow and spines. Travis did big B7 and F3 combo.Of course he Won and I got 2nd! We went bed not late after event's party in village because next day is THE DAY.

In the headwinds of Japan's recent trend of why we do dangerous things, we are striving to hold an extreme event in a situation that ordinary people can not understand, even if it is the best and it is incredibly fun for those who participate. It is pretty ununderstandable to “think safe” Japanese main stream thinking people to having “Extreme” backcountry event in Japan.There still guys who hating this event such as racist skiers in Happo, but there more people who wanted to have this event in Japan .Thanks maximum to them and all the riders and Hakuba Tourism and FWT japan's staff and everyone who supported .. and fans and friends .. This meant a lot to Japan and I'm stoked on my podium.
