Why did Atsushi Ishikawa choose "SP-bindings"? !!

Atsushi Ishikawa joined the SP-Bindings team from the 2015-16 season.
As a professional snowboarder, he has been active as a top competitor in the heyday of Japanese slopestyle competitions such as TOYOTA BIG AIR, NISSAN X-TRAIL JAM, and SLOPESTYLE.
ai6v6889 As a sclover crew, Atsushi Ishikawa has left a high level of footage and has been exposed to many media such as covers, special features as a rider, and interviews in Japanese media.
He interviewed "Why did you choose SP-UINTED?"

Q1 How old will you be in the next season? How many years have you been working as a professional?
39 years old!I wonder if it will be 18-19 years as a professional!

Q2 I think you started professional activities and mainly focused on competitions and photography. What have you been doing in recent years?
Hmmm. The base part hasn't changed in the past and now.I don't think the tournament is in me anymore. However, nothing has changed when it comes to shooting.Recently, the number of park producers (playground proposals) has increased.I want to make use of my experience to liven up the snow industry.I want to create a place in Japan where riders can practice!I started thinking.

Q3 What are you aware of about your current riding?
I don't think it has changed from the past, but when it comes to jumping, I think it's "height".After all, no matter what technique you are doing, if you have "height", it will be eye-catching.

Q4 Why did you choose SP-UNITED from the previous support gear that you have been using for many years?
I've been using FLOW for about 7 years now, and I was looking for bindings when the board sponsor changed last year.I had the opportunity to go to the SP-UNITED JAPAN company (import agency) in a different case at the right time, explained the circumstances, and hit it off.Of course, I tested SP-bindings.I've always liked aluminum bindings, and because it's the rear entry binding I've been using, I was able to use it in good condition without any discomfort. To be honest, I didn't really want to get a new sponsor at this age, but I'm really happy to be respected, needed and able to work with the manufacturers.I sincerely respect the manufacturers who think so.

Q5 How do you think your future riding style will interact with SP-bindings?
I don't think my style will change.I've always liked powder, so I think there will be more powder than on the street.I'm looking forward to the fusion at that time.

Q6 What kind of binding model did you use last season?
ai6v3003 SLAB.one for parks and free riding
I used to use brotherhood on the street and in powder.

Q7 How do you feel about using the sLAB base (base plate used for sLAB.one, Mountain, brotherhood, core, and Split)?
ai6v3000-1 I felt like the aluminum base. This feeling may have been around for a long time.I like to react to my movements when I have to deal with big jumps, riding in trees, a little line correction on the street, a little edge, or something else.

Q8 SP bindings is a rear entry system called FASTECH, but are there any features such as holdability?
ai6v3046 With rear entry, you can easily get the image of quick entry and release, but in fact, it has a buckle (evo buckle), so it feels like a rear entry + buckle.

Q9 Are you particular about the settings? Is SP in good shape for me this way?
ai6v2940-1 When you take off your boots, the system that automatically removes the buckle and raises the strap when you knock down the high back is kind to you!
ai6v2936 Also, when I make a big jump or skate with a lot of energy, I always tighten it with a buckle (evo buckle), but it's in good shape!

Q10 A word to those who saw this, and the enthusiasm of this season!
The undercarriage is a very important part.I think it's important to worry a lot and find a setting that suits you.I would be happy if there were SP bindings in it.I want to participate in more shooting this season. What I want to do is 3D (vertical rotation) out with WALL.And, I will revenge the points that I did not make last year!
