PSA HP in Nango with KSBA

15.16 PSA ASIA Snowboard Pro Tour round 5

2016/2/10 PSA ASIA Pro Tour Round 5

r5-1

PSA HP in Nango with KSBA, the first freestyle event of the PSA ASIA Pro Tour, was held at Aizu Kogen Nango Ski Resort.

In the early part of the season, which was said to be a serious lack of snow like never before, several tournaments were forced to cancel, schedule or change venues, and the XNUMX-XNUMX season Pro Tour started the turbulence.

The Nango Ski Resort, the venue for this tournament, was probably the same, and due to the severe snow conditions, we had to suspend business early in the new year, and we were troubled by the amount of snow at the beginning of the season.

However, the strength of the heavy snowfall area, which is famous in the Aizu area, and the passion of the Nango ski resort pipe operators, diggers, patrols, and staff who have created many fierce battle stages in the past, such as the All Japan Championship and Pro Tour. With great cooperation, the main pipe, the second pipe, and the two half pipes were made by the time of this tournament.

This tournament was held jointly by KSBA (Kanto Snowboard Association) and PSA ASIA, and the Kanto tournament slopestyle event was held in the freeride park beside the main halfpipe until the day before, and a heated battle was fought.

The perfectly shaped half-pipe, the wind was a little stronger, and the clouds were visible in some places, but the sun was shining in good conditions.

Until the time when the men's public practice starts ...

The weather on this day sometimes gave me a glimpse of the sunny days, but from the start of the qualifying to the end of the final, it was almost a blizzard. Participants continued to suffer from the dark and hard-to-see visibility and slow course conditions.

Most of the qualifiers are in their teens to early twenties, and the middle-aged girls are Hagiwara, and the boys are Omoto and Sakai. The players definitely demonstrated their abilities and mixed with young players to advance to the final.

The finalists are XNUMX boys and XNUMX girls, and the best score of the two final runs will be adopted to determine the ranking.

Due to the strong winds that did not show any signs of recovery even in the final time and the snow that continued to fall strongly, the female athlete who won the close battle in the very difficult course conditions with poor visibility was a sixth grader, of course, Pro Tour. Mitsuki Ono (Snow Woo "Mizonokuchi) who will be the first champion.

Ono chose a high-speed trick called cab XNUMX from the switch entry, which is quite rare for a female player, to the first hit.In addition, Misa Honda (Snow Woo Mizonokuchi) and Misaki Kakuhari (JSBA) who made a clean make-up on the front side XNUMX, back side XNUMX, and front side air, and also made a clean make-up on the front side XNUMX and climbed the podium. And decided to win the first run of the final.

After the award ceremony, Ono, who took off his goggles, returned to the expression of the girl who remained innocent. It was a little embarrassing to say a model comment that was as good as an adult, unlike the lively run that reminded me of a goggle girl.

The birth of the young genius half-pipe heroine brought the Nango ski resort to life.

Also, as in the women's final, the snow that fell from the bottom into the transition drastically slowed down the sliding speed of the board, and the men's finalists boldly challenged the big trick while the conditions continued to be difficult even at the start timing due to poor visibility. I did.

Yuto Totsuka (YONEX), who had been making a clean make-up of the dynamic front side rodeo XNUMX with his head down during the spin, came in second, and was the only second hit in the tournament to back from the front side XNUMX. Shinko Imai (GRAY / Hayashi Wax), who was connected to Side XNUMX, was in XNUMXrd place.

The reason why he won such a high-level close battle was that he could not decide the routine he was good at in the first run of the final, and in the second run that was cornered, he took the longest approach among the participating players and released the whole front side XNUMX from the top speed. Yoshida Masakaze, the champion of last year's Pro Tour Freestyle Ranking, who made a clean make-up and then connected all the tricks to the cab XNUMX and front side XNUMX cleanly higher than anyone else and hit a high score without complaint. (KISSMARK).

After the awards ceremony, when I asked Yoshida about his feelings just before the final run,
Anyway, I decided to slip as a professional.

It's okay to fall, so it's like burning in everyone's hearts.

"Like the old Icchan," he left an adult comment that made me feel that I could afford to care for the author Fujinuma, who was forced to leave the front line from the tour due to an injury last season.

Win Masakaze Yoshida

2nd place Yuto Totsuka

XNUMXrd place Imai Mind

XNUMXth place Mouth Cun Yorio

XNUMXth place Renta Okoba

The former genius kids rider, who was the most excited at the venue during this tournament, has gained a lot of experience such as the World Cup battle and has grown into a top rider representing Japan.

From the PSA ASIA Pro Tour, where Ono and Yoshida, the two champions who have won the fierce battle in difficult conditions such as bad weather and are running at the top of the freestyle ranking at the moment, and the top freestylers in Japan who are chasing them Keep an eye on it.
