SP binding has a [Fastech] mounting system.What kind of positive effect does this system have on riding?I asked Runa Suzuki.
What is Fastech?
There is no heel cup, and the rear entry system is installed by raising the high back and pushing the entire foot toward the tip of the toe.
Suzuki:Anyway, it's easy.You can wear it in seconds, and you don't have to worry about the binding loosening or the strap coming off due to impact.I like it and use it.If you compare it with boots, it feels like BOA.I'm a BOA sect (sLAB.ONE sect) who never loosens (laughs)
— What do you think [Fastech] is easy to use?
Suzuki:It's many times faster to put on and take off than a binding that isn't [Fastech], so it's faster to get on the lift, and as a result, I feel like I'm slipping a lot more than everyone else.
— What are the benefits of using [Fastech]?
Suzuki:There are many things such as ease of use, holding power, good response, and durability!With normal binding, it feels like only both ends of the foot are held, but with [Fastech], the pressure points are spread throughout, so it's really easy to operate.
