Q. Can you tell me Stefy's profile?
Born in New Zealand in 1991.When I was a kid, I skied at ski resorts around Wanaka on the South Island.Wanaka is a place rich in nature and has big ski resorts such as Cardrona and Treble Corn.I remember that many Japanese people came to ski resorts because New Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere and the season is opposite to that of Japan in the Northern Hemisphere.
I have a career as a New Zealand player at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.I worked hard as an athlete until the winter in Sochi, and now I'm based in San Diego, USA.He has almost retired from competition and has been active mainly in video and photography since the year after Sochi.I was busy every day when I was a player, but now I really enjoy snowboarding at my own pace.

Q. As I saw on SNS, Stephi seems to enjoy various activities such as surfing and skating besides snowboarding.
The beaches of San Diego have good waves so I also surf my favorite off-season.I also like skating and enjoy all 1S all year round.I also try camping, hiking, cycling, tennis, mountain biking, and recently trail running in the mountains. It's a lot harder than it looks and I'm incorporating it as part of my training.I wonder if I've always loved to move my body since I was a kid and can't stay still (laughs).

Q. DC has been the main sponsor since last season.
I was happy and very honored when the support from DC was decided. There are a lot of great riders on the team, so I get a lot of inspiration every day and it has a great influence on me.

Q. How about using DC gear?
I like the rich product lineup of women's gear that is comparable to men's.Products that cover all fields from beginners to advanced skiers, slope cruising, pipes, parks, backcountry, etc. should be a strong ally for a wide range of lady sliders. The clothing is fashionable and cute, so it stands out on the slopes, and the overall length is a long silhouette. SympaTex is also comfortable to stretch and waterproof. Also, gloves, beanies, neck warmers, etc. are of high quality and the design is cool.I definitely want you to pick it up.

Q. Tell us about the DC boots that Stephy uses?
The main boots have BOA on the tongue and sides, and I'm wearing LOTUS, which is very comfortable to wear. The double BOA promises a comfortable ride for any last rider. The lightweight upper is soft and warm. There are three colors, white, black and khaki, and I prefer black because I want to make my feet look neat.

◆ Size: 22cm-25.5cm
◆ Price: ¥ 35,000

Q. Tell us about the board?
The board uses FOREVER.From parks to powder and carving on the slopes, this is the ideal board for all-round skiing.Flex adopts a lock and road camber structure that is soft but has repulsive force, and since the repulsive force is high, I think that even a rider with weak leg strength can easily apply ollie with a little force.I also love this graphic.Don't you think the big heart symbol on the nose and tail of the deck is the cutest and coolest?

Q. Finally, do you have a message for Japanese snowboarders?
This time I came to Japan XNUMX weeks before I started shooting DC and traveled to Japan with my boyfriend. There were many places to emulate Japanese culture.People are kind and keep smiling.Bus and train times are accurate, and the behavior in public is surprisingly polite. There were no graffiti or garbage in the city, so I was able to walk around the city comfortably.Above all, the rice was delicious, the spacious hot springs were pleasant, and I was intrigued by the old Japanese history and culture and traditional crafts.
I felt that snowboarding had a wonderful scene that no other country had.I skated in many places in Japan, but a lot of people were having fun snowboarding.Besides, I was surprised that the lift ticket is cheaper than overseas. In the US, depending on the time of year, it can cost around US $ 80 to $ 100.
I definitely want to come back to Japan and go to places I couldn't visit this time.Thank you for your kindness to everyone in Japan. It would be great if I could skate with all the Japanese ladies riders one day.
