Japan's premier snowboarding competition "COWDAY" (sponsored by the COWDAY executive committee), which has been held in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture since 2015, was held with the aim of developing the entire snowboarding world and producing world-class riders. It has developed into one of Japan's leading snowboarding events, with all Olympians participating.
From 2019, we moved the place to Osaka and told more people about the fun of winter sports and the high quality of the competition.
In this way, COWDAY has grown while gradually changing its shape.And this time, even though the coronavirus is rampant, it was decided to hold it as a completely online movie contest with the hope that it will rediscover the revitalization and charm of winter sports as a whole without changing the concept.Furthermore, this time, Ki Inamura will be the general director, and it seems that he will take on the challenge with a new system.
If you are a snowboarder regardless of genre, such as freestyle, freeriding, carving & gratri, YOUTUBE, documentary, and photography, the total prize money is 6 million yen, which is the largest ever, and general application contests for amateurs. Preparations are underway to create a wide range of content that everyone will be interested in.
