It was a period of exploration and discovery as far as what the Journal essence was and could be. Quite a few of the issues in these volumes are no longer available.

Born Los Angeles, CA 1941, started surfing in 1957.Ended up at 파도타기 그때 서퍼, where I too soon fell into the publisher's chair and I remained seated for 21 years and then founded THE SURFER'S JOURNAL.
