산오노후레는 내가 어디보다 자주 서핑하는 명소 중 하나.비록 사람이 많아도 파도가 얼마든지, 여기는 언제든지 즐거운 시간을 준다.게다가, 여기에서는 언제나 일본의 서퍼의 모습을 보여, 그들도 즐거운 시간을 보내고 있는 모습을 알 수 있다.그리고 지금까지 자신의 스튜디오의 벽에 걸려 있던 이 1장을 매우 좋아하고 있다.볼 때마다, 산오노후레의 그 느낌이 그대로 이 1장으로부터 전해져 오는 생각이 들기 때문이다.그러니까 이번은 이 1장이 누군가의 기분을 밝게 해, 즐거운 기분을 가져오길 바란다.
"SAN ONOFRE" Ink on paper,
20 x 26 inch, 50 x 65 cm. 2009. San Onofre is one of the spots I surf more regularly. It is always fun, almost doesn't matter if it is crowed or if the waves are not too good, San'O always delivers. Every time I go I see some Korean surfers having a good time as well. I really like this piece, until this moment I had on the wall in my studio, it cheers me up to look at it. I think it really captures the soul of San Onofre. I hope it will help some people to feel better
