VINTEL SUMMER SNOWBOARD CAMP in Toyama 2014
Let's enjoy snowboarding in the summer of Japan!
I want to convey the appeal of snowboarding to as many people as possible.
The first VINTEL camp that started from such a feeling was held in Tateyama Town, Toyama Prefecture.
We want you to experience a lot of our thoughts through snowboarding.That is.
Because we have met friends through snowboarding, experienced various things, and grew up.
The coaches are Sho Hansai, Kazushige Fujita, Yuka Fujimori, Takahiro Ishida, Takumi Hirata, Asami Hirono.It is a top rider who is active in various genres.From coaching professionals to jumps, rails, backcountry, snowboard crosses, Olympic athletes to competitors and movie stars.
The genres and ways of dealing with snowboarding are different, but they are all good friends who have grown up through snowboarding.Of course, we will do all our lives together, not to mention snowboarding with them.
By the way, what was the content of the first event held for children who will lead the next generation?I would like to look back with a lot of smiles.It's the beginning of an adventurous four days.
Day 1
At the meeting place, Toyama Kings, 7-year-old children and 14-year-old children from all over the country gathered.Some children are usually close friends and some are nice to meet you.Even a child who is the first to leave his parents for a few days.
We received a large clam and a clam from an acquaintance of Yuka Fujimori, steamed it with sake, and made it a WELCOME clam!I was allowed to issue.No, it was delicious.Lol The kids also ate deliciously.
Then load your luggage into the car and leave for your accommodation.
The beginning of a trip of 3 nights and 4 days.Parents can't usually relax, so please enjoy yourself slowly.
The rooms are separated by men and women and they are all the same.Decide on your own bed, pull the sheets, put your luggage down, and head to Kings!
Snowboarding is the best communication for snowboarders, isn't it?If you slip on a board, you will get along with nature.While assessing the level of the children, the coaches skated together and enjoyed snowboarding together.
First of all, let's put aside the stiff things, slide freely, the coach will also enjoy sliding and interact with the smiles of the children.
The rice at the inn is in a buffet style so that you can choose and eat it yourself.I would like to say that each thought is important, but after all children do not eat and hate it.Children who say they shouldn't eat, but don't.It's difficult ~ lol
And game time after meals.That said, I just introduced myself and played a musical chairs game, but the fun of the musical chairs game has revived.Lol
In the self-introduction, let's say the goal of this camp and let's all work towards it!And praise each other.Snowboarding is the best tool to play with, regardless of age or level.

Day 2
By the way, it's time for a walk in the morning with everyone who got up a little oversleeping.There is a lot of nature around the accommodation, and there are courses where you can walk on mountain roads.
Is it okay for children to enter here?I was asked, and I said it's okay, but it was muddy all day and the road was longer and steeper than I expected.From children who enjoy the situation to children who say no.It was a good mental training from the morning.
High five when you get out of the road!Adventure brings a new sensation!This kind of meeting is unique to snowboarding.
Eat breakfast and head to Shomyo Falls, which boasts the highest head in Japan in Tateyama Town, Toyama Prefecture.I was surprised at the size of the waterfall when I thought about it. The scenery along the way for about 30 minutes also has a large rock wall, and that sense of scale makes you feel the magnificence of nature.
Enjoy the scenery with your eyes, hear the sound of water and wind with your ears, smell with your nose, and feel the splash of water with your skin, and feel the Aquarius permeate your body.
How does it look in the eyes of children?The feeling of encountering a new thing must be more impressive than that of an adult.
On the way back, we had a skateboard and lunch at the ㊙︎ spot.It's a loose downhill and it's great.First of all, it is important to ride and skate on a skateboard.
Because there are no items, I felt the pleasure of slipping even more.The feeling of cutting that wind and turning and feeling gravity is the same as snowboarding.
By the way, I moved a lot until I got to Toyama Kings, but now I'm snowboarding.
Your coach will help you reach the goals you heard yesterday.Coaching is neither grouping nor compulsory.This is to bring out the feelings that children want to do.
Toyama Kings has a pool, trampoline, and a large playground on a large site.But you need everything.If it's hot, you can go to the pool, and if you fly on a trampoline, you'll want to try it with a kicker.If my friend flies a big kicker, I want to fly too.I want to turn it.
It is a good point of snowboarding that such a friendly competition is born.It's free.Snowboarding is one of the games, so it doesn't make sense if it's not fun.
Each coach has a different teaching method.This may seem bad at first glance, but our idea is that snowboarding is free and you don't need a mold.There should be many approaches that will improve you, and in fact, it is not suitable for people and has individuality, so it is better to have a wide range of teaching.The most important thing is to have fun, and if you enjoy it, the speed at which you get better will change at all.
Sometimes the kids can't do it and have a rugged face, but that's where the coach's arms are shown.The best medicine is to set an example for yourself and show yourself how you are enjoying yourself.

Astronomical observation and planetarium.Unfortunately, I couldn't observe the astronomical objects because of the cloud pattern, but studying the planetarium and the universe was very interesting.Looking at the earth where we live from space, and what the universe is like.It was like traveling in space.
I don't think anyone thought that studying on this day would be useful, but most of the time, such timings come at unexpected times.
Both children and adults went straight to bed on this day.That's why I'm tired if there are so many things.It seems that the muddy morning is a long time ago.

Day 3
good morning.It's sunny today as well.
Today's morning exercise is slacklining.And today's bed is a tent.We will set up slack lines, set up tents, and build a VINTEL village together.Everyone decides where to put up the tent and cooperates to set up the tent.For children who have never set up a tent, ask an experienced child to teach them.
The inside of the tent is not large, so it's a spirit of concession.When I was a kid, I wondered if I could stay in a tent or do something like this.
Now, when you have a bed, it's slacklining time!At first, everyone can't ride, but gradually they can.And it works quite well.It also supplements the sense of balance.It is also important to learn from the play while playing with friends in this way.It's like a skateboard.
The coaches are also inexperienced, but I think it was good to have fun with the children.At the end, everyone had improved a lot.
Eat lunch at VINTEL village and snowboard time from the afternoon.You can see that everyone's motivation has risen considerably.Because it's fun.That's right.I will ask the coaches about the issues that I left behind yesterday.And the coach will teach you each shortcut by showing it in slips and words.
Of course, it's not something that can be done right away, but the child who only said that he wanted to do B180 until yesterday wants to do both 360!The child who was flying small flies in the middle!Enthusiastic.I'm glad.
Those who teach are also good!I'll do it!It will be.This enthusiasm is also fun and the secret to enjoying snowboarding.
I still want to slip, but I'm looking forward to the campfire tonight.I didn't feel that some children were nervous about staying in the tent for the first time, but I wonder if the fun was better.
The campfire is pretty big and pretty hot.Surround the fire with everyone, dance, watch the fire, bake marshmallows.
You rarely see flames that are several times taller than you, right?It's like I've seen it in a local sagicho a long time ago.I don't remember much.The flames I saw with my friends must have burned into my child's heart.And there was a beautiful starry sky beyond the sparks.
Yesterday's study of the constellations, the Milky Way is the galaxy we are in, the light of the stars is tens of thousands of light years old, and we are surrounded by many shooting stars.What a voice I can hear.Today was a meteor shower day at the right time.
I think everyone had the same feelings, not to mention the coaches.I wonder if there are aliens.What?Lol
It is also a good point of snowboarding to meet such a good meeting.
If you snowboard, you can go to various places with friends, meet various people and scenery, and meet many chances.I like that kind of place.Surrounded by the night sky, sleep in a tent while feeling the natural breeze.
Day 4
It feels good in the morning in the tent.I was awakened by the morning sun shining through the trees and the gentle breeze.The children are sleeping slowly, probably because they enjoyed the night.If it's a school experience, sleep at night!I'm told, but I don't say that because this is a summer snowboard camp. (I'll say it for the time being. Lol) We have discovered freedom from such a free environment, so I want children to play to their heart's content and do whatever they want.Then one day I will know the importance of sleeping.Lol
When I woke up, there was a slack line in front of me, so the children naturally did slack line.After the meal, we will work together to clean up the tent.
More beautiful than when I came.It's a word I often hear, but it's something I don't notice when I'm a kid.As with many adults, it's an important feeling for snowboarders who have a great relationship with nature.Things and nature are the same.
I cleaned up the place with the children and headed to Toyama Kings.
The VINTEL SUMMER SNOWBOARD CAMP is finally nearing its end.
We had a little time before the opening hours of KINGS, so we split watermelons, trampoline, and when we noticed, we all got along so well that we couldn't think we met three days ago.And when the business starts, everyone is crazy about snowboarding.It's really nice to see everyone working hard at different levels, big, middle, and small.
The last spurt to achieve each goal.It feels like everyone's progress is in their hands.And above all, everyone's happy smiles are the treasure of our coaches.
Parents are also appearing here and there, watching the children for the first time in a long time.
Do you feel the changes in your child that we don't understand?While I was a little worried, I was also looking forward to what kind of reaction I would get.
At the end, we listened to each child's impressions, and there are various children who were able to achieve the goal and those who could not, but what they have in common is that they worked hard toward the goal.was fun!That is.
Of course, the result is important, but I think the process of trying toward it is really important, and I'm really happy that the children enjoyed the four days.

Snowboarding really gives us a lot of experience.
It's not just a sport, it's the best play and communication tool, and I think it's a tool that can grow people.
Any sport can grow people, but snowboarding can be played regardless of age and level, and you can meet various people and nature.Is there any other play like this?
The possibility of snowboarding is great.It was four days that made me feel again.
We spent time together other than snowboarding and had various experiences.I think that creating a place where you can practice together, go to competitions, go to shoots, go out to play, and so on will help convey the appeal of snowboarding.Nothing beats the experience.
We will also make an effort to enjoy it so that we can provide you with a good time.It would be great if we could create a place where not only children but also adults can enjoy themselves.
