The slippery area is Hakuba and Kotani, which is located north of Hakuba.
Otari Village, which is located in the north of Hakuba Village, has a lot of snow because it is closer to the Sea of Japan than Hakuba, and the snowfall is completely different when comparing Goryu and Otari Onsen on the south side of Hakuba.
Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort, which holds the FREERIDE WORKSHOP I'm doing, Tsugaike, and Norikura are also in Otari.
As for WORKSHOP, Kotani is a place that is very well taken care of.
That day was the first shoot of the season.
There is a lot of fresh snow, and even if you wear snowshoes, your thighs will be buried.When it comes to climbing the slope, it feels like it's about the chest.
Photographer Kensuke Itahara (Ita-chan) and Filmer Toshiyuki Kajita (Kaji) wait by the side of the road and hike Russell for an hour and a half alone.
After defeating the point I was looking for (did you do it?) And returning to the cameraman, Yo Tanaka, a rider, rushed to the scene by chance.
It seems that he found it when he came to location scouting, but Yo Tanaka, who had been working hard with him since he was aiming for a professional, probably sniffed something and appeared here.
The pleasant air, scenery, and good rhythm before nightfall overlapped, and we all climbed and slipped on the last one.
The last high five feels great at that time when I laughed with my friends and chewed on the happiness of slipping.
No matter who and where you slip, you will get a high five when you finish slipping.

Where's?I think there are many people who think that.At least where am I?It became.
However, the moment I visited, I fell in love with the place.A place full of such charm.
This slope, which is connected to the station, is not big, but it is a place that everyone from families to powder lovers can enjoy.
Nakazato, which is run by a person who really likes and understands snow sports and is packed with a lot of fun that makes use of the terrain even in a small place, will be a necessary presence for snow resorts in Japan in the future.
The amount of snow in Yuzawa in the heavy snowfall area is unmatched.We could afford 30 cm overnight, and even when we were there, the snow continued to fall, and we were able to slide the powder forever.
There are countless places to slip, and before we eat up the powder on the slopes, we are exhausted by the powder.
It is certain that the competition rate of Nakazato's powder will increase in the future.
It can't be helped because it's fun.
Hakuba Cortina has also relaxed regulations for several years and is now a foreigner's paradise.
In the first place, the fun of snowboarding is free.
Once you decide on a frame, the limits of fun will be contained within the frame.
Of course, the main premise is that the rules are important, but it should be remembered that winter sports originally started from just snowy mountains.
Because there is the most fun there.
The powder of Japan is called Japow overseas, and the country of Japan is blessed with snow and mountains worldwide.
It's a shame that we Japanese don't know that.
However, the number of places to expand the fun is increasing year by year, and I feel that Nakazato is a good example.
Contrary to its appearance, this slope is more interesting than you can imagine, and you can really feel the kindness of the management side.
There is no doubt that the development of safety management will ease regulations and make the entire Japanese slope more enjoyable.

"Tomorrow, I'm going to Tanigawa. The condition is good. Maybe I can go to a good place. I'll meet at 7:XNUMX. Then."
I didn't plan at all, but the mountain conditions won't wait.
4 hours from Hakuba.Actually, I just came back from Yuzawa Nakazato the night before.
Departure at 3:XNUMX in the morning.
A beautiful starry sky and a sunrise greeted me along the way.
I run toward the white mountain that can be seen in the distance.
This time is a session with Yamato Maehara, who is also a head rider on the water.
After merging with Yamato and having a meeting for today's journey, we will carefully observe the mountains from the ropeway and lift.
Yamato is always relaxed, but today I felt like I was looking at him with an unprecedented sense of tension.
While looking at the mountains, Yamato said, "Everything I want to do is here." I was biting into the meaning of the word while looking at the mountains of Tanigawa.
When you start climbing, the view from the ridgeline is wonderful, and as you climb, you realize that it is much larger than the scale of the mountain you saw from a distance.
Line taking depends on the snow conditions.
In Tanigawa, the chance to glide on a large slope seems to be about 10 days in the season, and it is necessary to observe the mountains of Tanigawa to hit the 10 days.
I am grateful that I was able to meet such an opportunity.It is a challenge that can only be done with Yamato.
When you start slipping, you will feel the length of the line.
The first thing is to slide down safely.
High feelings and calm behavior.

I can't say the relief when I found Yamato.
And the high five at this time is exceptionally comfortable.
High-fiving with friends who have spent an important time connects each other's feelings.
What you do in the mountains is different for each person.
It's fun to skate on the slopes with friends, and it's also fun to have a session in Satoyama.
And heading to a big mountain.
No matter what you do, everyone wants the same thing.
