First, please watch the video below.

Scott Stevens is known for his fantastical and versatile riding. The interface that secures his feet to the board is the new binding "T32M FASE" from THIRTYTWO.

THIRTY TWOIt is,1995The brand was founded by a snowboarder in 2000 and has been developing outerwear, apparel, and other items, with a focus on snowboard boots. The technology cultivated in the development of skate shoes is also applied to snowboard boots, and the products produced through academic research at the company's own research facilities boast a quality that satisfies even the most prestigious team riders, and the company has always provided innovative gear to many users.

That's why riders sponsored by total brands such as Zeb Powell and Bode Merrill also use boots.THIRTY TWOHe may be a big fan of it.Furthermore, legendary big mountain riders such as Jeremy Jones, JP Walker and Chris Bradshaw have continued to be on the team for many years due to the quality of their products.

The highly trusted THIRTYTWO has finally released a binding, not a boot, but the T32M FASE, which is equipped with a new system called FASE. FASE is comprised of three main functions. First, the "AutoBack" automatically raises and locks the highback that had fallen backwards when you put your foot in. Next, the "Locked-In Toe Strap" keeps the pre-set position. And finally, there is the "FastStrap" ankle that can be easily operated with one hand. These organically intertwine to provide the performance of a two-strap binding while realizing revolutionary quick and easy fastening and unfastening that is compatible with any boot.

However, because it is a new system, some people may be worried that "will there be any problems somewhere?" However, since the first prototype of FASE was developed in the 2018-19 season, hundreds of prototypes have been tested on the snow for thousands of hours in the seven years leading up to commercialization. Yes, the reliability and high level of perfection have already been proven. As a sign of their confidence, the manufacturer even provides a lifetime warranty on certain parts of the FASE system!

Although there are bindings that boast easy fastening and detachment such as STEP ON and SUPERMATIC, FASE is the closest to the traditional two-strap bindings in feel and is also lightweight. Incidentally, this season, four brands, including ROME, JONES, and BATALEON, will be releasing bindings equipped with FASE. Among them, THIRTYTWO is the softest, and is especially great for freestyle fun at low to medium speeds. In other words, it is a must-check binding for those who want to cruise the slopes or ride in the park like Scott Stevens showed in the video introduced at the beginning.

AutoBack
The highback is the key to the FASE system, which allows you to put your feet in the bindings hands-free. When you put the heel of your boot in, the highback, which is tilted backwards, automatically closes, and when you lift the heel of your boot, it automatically opens. The highback can also be tilted forward when riding the lift or storing the bindings.
FastStrap
By using a long ankle ladder, the ankle strap can be kept connected even when released. As a result, the ankle strap can be quickly tightened immediately after putting on the binding. As with two-strap bindings, the fit can be fine-tuned with a regular ratchet.
Locked-In Toe Strap
Once you set the toe strap to your preferred fit, it works in tandem with the system so there's no need to adjust it again.
