SPARK R & D HISTORY
Spark R & D was established in 2006 in Boseman, Minnesota, USA.From the initial model "IGNITION 1" to "Fuse", in 2010, "Blaze" was announced, which made SPARK R & D famous in the SPLITBOARD industry.After that, with the addition of the "Burner" model, SPARK R & D will continue to grow as the standard for SPLITBOARD BINDING.
In 2013, the Slider Pin System, which was a system developed by other companies and fixed the toe part with a pin, was adopted, but the neo-standard "TESLA SYSTEM" was announced to replace that system. The “Magneto” and “After Burner” models equipped with TESLA SSYETEM do not use the conventional Slider Pin, they can be easily locked by simply raising and lowering the Snap Ramps at the toe of the binding, and the Climbing Wire is built into the base plate. It has evolved and made SPARK R & D a leading company of SPLITBOARD BINDING.
In 2015, we announced the “TESLA T1 SYSTEM”, which is a further evolution of TESLA.The two Climbing Wires built into the base plate have been changed to one, and the angle adjustment that was previously done with two depending on the angle has been consolidated into one.The highback has also evolved and can be adjusted forward lean without tools, and the "Rip'n'Flip Highback" that gives freedom to the feet in the tour mode and can be released in the negative direction with one touch operation is standard equipment. ..
In 2017, announced the "Pillow Line Strap Collection".The one-piece molded strap is lightweight, sturdy, and has a wrap-around fit that evolves in riding mode. In 2018, we announced "PRO SERIES", which realized a different dimension of lightness by re-examining the materials that were particular about the gram unit.
