NEW FACE / Tomoya Inose

Tomoya Inose joins SP from this season
I asked him about his reason for joining and his style.

Q1: You joined the SP team in January of this year.

Inose: This is an introduction from Mr. Yunosuke Sugaya.
I have known Mr. Sugaya one-sidedly for a long time, and I admired his fusion style of carving and guratori.
As I uploaded videos on SNS, Mr. Sugaya reacted to me, and I was able to connect with him. When Mr. came, the relationship increased.

QXNUMX: You also hold events yourself. Please tell us what kind of events you hold.

Inose: I've been going to Snova Shin-Yokohama indoor slopes every week for about three years now.As for the contents, we rented out the indoor slopes to freely slide, tried on gloves and goggles, held a lottery, etc., and made it a place for pre-season exchanges!
In January, Iwappara Ski Resort also held a special event with the same organizer as the indoor ski slope.

QXNUMX: I heard that you are pursuing a style of skating that incorporates various bad turns. What kind of turns are bad turns?

Inose: It's a turn that you do while laying your body against the slope.

QXNUMX: What made you fall in love with Bitterly Turn?

Inose: When my friend showed me it for the first time, I was like, "Huh?How can you turn in that posture? ? I was very surprised.
From there, I started to challenge myself, and as I felt the fun of the Bitterly Turn, I became more and more addicted to it.

QXNUMX: I heard that you skate while incorporating various bad turns. Are there different types of bad turns?

Inose: First of all, there is the toe side of the normal turn and the bitterness of the heel side.
From there, reverse turns can also be bittery, so there are toe reverse bittery and heel reverse bittery.
There are also various types, such as the elbow bittery turn, which uses the elbow as the fulcrum.

QXNUMX: I see!In a word, there are various types even if it is said to be a bittery turn.
Please tell us the charm of such a Bitterly turn.

Inose: More than anything else, the feeling of sliding across the snow with your entire body is a great feeling.
I'm done with this

QXNUMX: Do you have any advice for people who want to start Bitterly Turn?

Inose: First of all, I want you to be careful not to get injured.
Depending on the material of the glove, the brakes may be applied when the hand is touched, and the hand may be repelled depending on the snow quality of the day.
If you do it with momentum, the risk of injury increases, so I would like you to check the conditions of the snow on the day before trying it.
