Miho Furuse, a photographer, will be her second work and will release her 2nd photo book "STAGE" with the theme of slippers in the Hakuba area.
This work "STAGE" is a book that summarizes the snow action scenes taken from the '02 -'03 season, along with the dynamic scenery of the nature around Hakuba, based on the Hakuba area where he lives.
This photobook is a part of the scene cut out from her own point of view, meaning "Stage" of the action of professional skiers and snowboarders, and "Stage" meaning the place of their activity. ..And it is called "Stage", which includes social phenomena such as the different nature (amount of snow) every year for about 15 years and the relaxation of regulated areas due to the increase in foreign tourists visiting Hakuba Village. It has a meaning.
With a desire to spread the appeal of "HAKUBA" by looking overseas, it seems that the production is being carried out simultaneously in Japanese and English.
With the goal of producing and popularizing 1000 copies, and aiming for 3000 copies, we are still working toward the announcement by the end of the year with the cooperation of crowdfunding and corporate support.
