Maneuverline PRESENTS MATSURI in Nango Ski Resort

A handmade event by riders, that was "MATSURI"!
The program consists of a slope meeting at 9:30, an opening ceremony, a park by guest riders in the morning, a pipe clinic, a demonstration in the afternoon, and a free session of participants by rider judges.Rather than a tournament or camp, it was a friendly event where everyone would play around Nango.

Aizu Kogen Nango Ski Resort is famous for gathering high-level snowboarders, including locals. It is no exaggeration to say that the entire slope is a snow park. From advanced items with 4 large and small half pipes, trapezoidal rails and big kickers, to wide straight rails that are easy for beginners to enter the park, everything from skill testing to shaving training is fulfilling for snowboarders who enjoy the park. It's a slope.

Maneuverline presents “MATSURI” was held on Saturday, March 2003, 3 at this Nango ski resort.
Let me introduce the guest riders who gathered for this "MATSURI". ? Shingo Karima, Ryoma Hosaka, Rui Araki, Yusuke Sugimoto, Nobuyoshi Chiba, Kenichi Takagi, Kento Nagayasu, Retsuo Takahashi

On this day, Shingo Karima took the lead in both riding and MC as the leader of this event. At the clinic in the morning, I was playing around the park with a male participant. In the halfpipe, YOUNG BLOOD Takahashi Retsuo (Leo) of OPTION ・ NFA teaches pipe beginners from drop-in.Yusuke Sugimoto also gave accurate advice to female participants.

In the afternoon, a guest rider demo session took place in the park at the top of the slopes.Sections such as straight rails, double table tops, trapezoidal rails, and Y-shaped split curved rails are arranged in a well-balanced manner.Captain Digger of Nango Ski Resort himself shuttled the mobile and carried the riders, so the galleries were able to watch the game without any delay.

Shingo Karima entered the trapezoidal rail at 50/50 and transferred the table part to make a perfect rock-style backsideboard slide on the down side. The fashionable duo of Ryoma Hosaka and Rui Araki, who are hard to see, were also played around by kickers. It was Retsuo Takahashi who was the most energetic and the most frequent entry.A big kicker is used to wear bita in rapid succession. The riders also said, "He's dangerous."

After the demo session, the participants entered the free session contest as it was. Participants were towed by mobile like professionals and headed for the starting point. This in itself is rarely experienced on a regular slope. ? The participants themselves were quite complete.Suddenly challenge FS9 and make the judge scream, pull out the curve rail fully on the flank (laugh), enter the big kicker with one foot and make BS3, etc.

It doesn't matter if it's good or bad.Anyway, the guest riders were delighted with the participants enjoying the park. Natsuko Aoki, the only female session participant among the male participants, made two consecutive full make-ups of the trapezoidal rail from 50/50 on the front sideboard slide and the curved rail without 50/50. I was captivated by all the riders and staff.
