Let university snowboard club members experience a backcountry tour at Bantei Hakuba
2025/02/03I went to Hakuba!
We are holding a collaborative tour with Hakuba BC Guide Club "Bantei", which is run by a friend and acquaintance of mine!
Ito comes to visit every year.
This is my first time here since we moved to this office!
Everyone is having a meeting. I see Ryoma, the representative, Matsu-chan the chief guide, Shige who I skied with on the recent Myoko trip, and Maeda-san who is also an alpine racer...oh?
Ah! Ah!?
It's Naoki!
Ito Naoki discovered! From Nozawa Onsen!
I was surprised to see Naoki there but it seems today was his day to join a tour with Ryoma, the representative of Bantei!
Ryoma, the representative of Bantei, is a teammate on the Cardiff team.
And our guides were Matsu-chan (Mountain Hardwear) and Maeda-san (Rescue Wax)!
Participating will be members of the SSBA Student Snowboard Association, Kanagawa University Snowboard Club "SNOWY" and Meiji University Snowboard Circle "PROUD CREWS"! (Souta, Genki, Kaito, Shinga, Hota-chan and Masaki)
As soon as we gathered
Huh?! What the?! No way?! Huh?! That's what happened! lol
Please watch the video!
This time the tour is to "Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort"!!!
The slopes are wide, long, and fun, making it a really attractive ski resort!
Now, the BC tour has begun at Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort!
I had the Burton STEPON®︎SPLIT on my feet that day too! They were in great condition!
Since there are some participants on this tour for the first time, they will be taking a BC training course!
We learned in a hands-on way how to use probes, shovels, beacons, and more!
Now, let's keep climbing! To ski!
During the final break, everyone was sitting down, but we were just a little ways away from the slope where we could ski! Let's do our best!!
Now it's finally time to get changed!
Group photo snap.
First, the participants get a firm idea of what it will be like by watching Matsu-chan's graceful riding.
Of course I'll skate too!
It looks like the runny nosed kid is done!
We returned safely to the base!!
Afterwards, we played rock-paper-scissors with Itaru's personal belongings, as is customary for the tour!
Thank you! ! !
Thank you for the energy too!
It was a really fun and peaceful tour!
Would you like to do a BC tour in Takasu on March 3rd?
So, check out the video to see what happened today~ (^人^)
