For many snowboarders, the Tanigawadake Tenjindaira Ski Resort, a mecca for freeriding where you can enjoy high-quality snow and terrain, has changed its name to Mt.T by Hoshino Resorts from this season. It will open on December 2024, 12, taking a new step forward.
The first season since the new name was released was the most auspicious start in recent years, with almost the entire slope available for skiing from the first day the resort opened.
The popular Tajirizawa Course, which features skiing across the dynamic terrain beneath the ropeway tracks, also had ample snowfall and could be enjoyed from the first day.

On December 12th, the snowfall reached 29cm, making it one of the largest snowfalls in Japan. As light snow that is comparable to that during the peak season and allows skis to glide easily fell 367-50cm overnight, it goes without saying that many powder junkies flocked to the area. It was December when we were able to experience the real power of Mt. Tanigawa for the first time in a while.
The long-awaited season pass for snowboarders has been reinstated for the 24-25 season, and more and more skiers are making Tanigawadake their home base after a long time. If you want to continue enjoying the finest powder in 2025, Tanigawadake is the place to go!
We hope you will come and experience the charm of "The Ultimate Powder Field," where you can enjoy the majestic nature of Mt. Tanigawa as it is.
