White World Oze Iwakura boasts some of the best snow quality and scale in the Kanto area, with six ungroomed runs and seven runs over 6km long. Only a short 7 hour drive from Tokyo, there are 1 challenging runs to choose from, and we'll introduce some of our recommended runs!

HOTSLOPE 1

Expert course top
This ungroomed course has an average gradient of 40 degrees. Although it is the steepest slope in Iwakura, Oze, it accumulates more snow than anywhere else after a snowfall. Many snowboarders come here the morning after a snowfall to enjoy the comfortable floating feeling and sense of speed that the steep slope and deep new snow create. The course is 150m wide, so there is a very high chance of powder remaining.

HOTSLOPE 2

Milky Way
Oze Iwakura's most popular long course. On a clear day, you can enjoy a pleasant cruise of about 3.2 km while taking in the spectacular view that stretches all the way to Mt. Fuji. This season, the brushwood along the course where the walls continue has been cleared, making it possible to enjoy playing with the terrain more than ever before. The slope is also attractive and safe for beginners.

TOPICS 1

noon compacted snow
Oze Iwakura's specialty is "daytime snow compaction." The 1,050m Champion A course is temporarily closed around noon on weekends and holidays during the peak season, and the snow is re-compacted. "Daytime" is also a rare slope where you can enjoy pleasant carving on beautifully groomed runs.

TOPICS 2

Snow skating and separate boards are allowed on all courses. The beginner course at the foot of the mountain is wide and perfect for practicing snow skating. Of course, you can also ride the gondola, so once you get used to it, try a long run from the summit.
