Launched in Seattle, USA in 1992, RIDE SNOWBOARDS is one of the core American snowboard brands that continues to release innovatively designed products every year. The binding of such RIDE SNOWBOARDS has been completely renewed and finally appeared in the 20/21 season.

A series with high response and moderate flexibility

Until now, the development of each model has changed from the seeds to the development of the A series (left photo) and C series (right photo). The first thing I would like to introduce is the A series. The feature of the A series is the combination of aluminum chassis and heel cup. It was born by evolving the Infinity chassis that was also installed in the past models of RIDE.Previous models that used an aluminum chassis were attractive for their high response due to the characteristics of the material. However, on the other hand, there was a part where I felt that the response was too high and the flex was too hard due to the structure. Therefore, we changed the material to a flexible aluminum material and improved the shape of the heel of the chassis to a rounded shape. As a result, while maintaining high response, we also gained lateral flexibility.Another feature of the A series is the heel cup.Aluminum has been used as the material for the heel cup, but the manufacturing method has been changed.Until now, it was die-cut from an aluminum plate, but by using a metal processing method called forging, there is no waste.

The fully renewed A series aluminum chassis has a quick response that even professional riders can trust.
Aluminum is used for the heel cup as well as the chassis, which enables high response while being lightweight.
The heel side of the chassis has a slightly curved shape. This curve plays a role in not making the response too stiff
Rubber pads with excellent shock absorption performance are mounted on the toes and heels, so you can rest assured even with severe shocks.

C series with more flexibility and smoother ride quality

And in the other C series, the heel cup uses aluminum like the A series. The difference from the A series is that the chassis uses a composite material made of plastic. The composite material is a mixture of nylon and fiberglass, and is more flexible than aluminum. In other words, the composite has better shock absorption and a smooth ride quality is attractive.

The C series uses a composite chassis made of a composite material of plastic and fiberglass.
As with the A series, aluminum with high responsiveness is used for the heel cup, which is the most powerful of the bindings.
Rubber pads with excellent shock absorption performance are mounted on the toes and heels to absorb violent shocks and protect the safety of the rider.

Until now, the image of high-end = hard has been revolutionized by the appearance of the A series and C series. In the A series, 10 models are developed depending on the difference in the feeling of flex, 8, 6, 4, 4 from the top, and in the C series, 10 models of 8, 6, 4, 2, 5 are developed. There are two women's models, the AL series, which corresponds to the men's A series, 8 and 6.In addition, the CL series, which is the men's C series, is available in four models: 2, 8, 6, and 4.
Flex is the hardest 10 at the high end of each, and the smaller the number, the softer it becomes. In other words, the preference is selected according to the difference in the material of the chassis, and the difference in the characteristics of each part creates a small difference in feeling.
Up until now, the image was that the high end was aluminum and the low end was plastic, but we have a lineup of aluminum and composite materials from high end to low end.To put it simply, the A series emphasizes response.Recommended for those who want to charge carving and big mountain hard thanks to the quick response that is also a characteristic of aluminum. The C series emphasizes stable slipping with excellent shock absorption. It has a moderate response, so it is recommended for people who want to enjoy parks, gratri, loose turns, and people who want to ride mellow on the terrain.
Many RIDE team riders use the A-10, A-8, C-10 and C-8.By the way, Ryoki Ogawa, who is active on the street, uses C-8 and C-6 properly, and Masateru Kitae, who attacks Hakuba's backcountry with high-speed riding, chooses A-8.

RIDE's global rider Jake Welch also loves the new Vine
Jill Perkins, popular in the girls' street scene, attacks hard with the CL-8
Spencer Schubert uses C-8

Another big change from the last season is that the size adjustment range has become much wider.By moving the heel cup back and forth, the size can be expanded and contracted in 5 steps, so for example, M size can be used for boots of 24 to 28 cm.Since there were three stages so far, it can be said that it is a considerable merit.
This season, we would like you to find the best item from the fully renewed RIDE vines.

By shifting the heel cup, it expands and contracts by 5 sizes, so the range of boot sizes that can be accommodated by one model has expanded (the photo is A series).
Just by adjusting the screws, the size can be expanded or contracted by 5 steps, so the boot size corresponding to each size has also expanded dramatically (photo is C series).

This is the high-end model of each series!
