The "XC-R" is a carving-only board with a hammerhead shape that inherits the concept of the previous model "XC" while pursuing even easier handling. The side curve is deeper and the flex balance is adjusted to improve ease of turning and handling. In addition, by giving the board a semi-flat finish that brings the amount of convexity of the running surface closer to flat, you can enjoy carving automatically by squaring the edges. This means that even those who have found the manual control of the "XC" difficult can easily enjoy the thrill of carving.
Further evolution with the adoption of a new top sheet and a newly developed BX core
The 25/26 model uses expensive polyamide for the top sheet of all sizes, and also uses the newly developed BX core. This has resulted in an evolution into a luxurious board that is not only easy to handle, but also has a supple and smooth ride. In addition, the XC series now has three sizes (2/158/162) for the XC-R in addition to the two sizes (3/154) for the XC, increasing the size variation and allowing you to choose the perfect size for you.
