Traveling with two women, to the rumored "Frozen Wave Park" at Marunuma Kogen Ski Resort
We had been staying at the chalet Marunuma in Marunuma Kogen from the day before, and we were ready to soak in the hot springs flowing from the source from the morning.
On this day, the weather in Marunuma was cloudy in the morning, but when I stepped out of the hotel, the slope was in front of me, so even if the weather got bad, I could return immediately, so I was able to go skiing with confidence. ..
"The gas on the top of the mountain may be out," we boarded the gondola immediately.
At the ski resort with an altitude of XNUMX meters, you can go to the top at once with a gondola, so it's nice to have time to relax by removing the board.
When I got to the top and looked around, the gas was out, so I could slip without any problems.We decided to slide down from the top to the bottom of the mountain at once.
There are some terrains on the slopes where you can fly, so it was a course for practicing comprehensive skiing.
On this day, the board runs well because the temperature was a little low.
Since the course is long, it is slippery enough, and the burn that is ideal for practicing various turns is spreading.
We got up early in the morning and got hungry early, so we decided to have an early lunch at the restaurant "Tonfan" in the middle of the slopes.
The restaurant here overlooks the entire slope and has a good view.We enjoyed a delicious lunch and decided to take a break until the weather improved.
There seems to be a cafe and restaurant where you can spend a relaxing time, and a day trip hot spring called Zazen Onsen.
Even if the weather gets bad, I'm grateful that there are other facilities in the ski area besides snowboarding.
Nakanishi-kun, a cameraman who reassures us with his soft personality, which is soft enough to blend in with two women even though he is a man.It seems that the younger the person, the better.I knew that I would buy an antipathy and it was muddy (laughs).After all it is probably an adult female photographer.
From the afternoon, I joined MZK, a cameraman who was supposed to shoot for him.The weather was starting to improve, so we decided to go to the "FROZEN WAVE PARK" which started this season.
I also knew that FROZEN WAVE PARK was maintained by the maintenance of the park by top professionals, but this was the first time for me to skate this park myself.
If you practice in this park produced by terrain play professionals, you can easily get the knack of sliding while making the most of the terrain.Moreover, the course was longer than I expected, so it was slippery enough.It's also interesting to be able to hit the bank as many times as you like without having to make small turns.
Thanks to the central lift next to this park, you can turn the lift and practice many times.
The banks in the park were generally different in size and shape, and were long enough to speed up on various lines.
In shooting, I was able to practice layback over and over again with a single run, so I was able to leave a convincing photo.
There are many banks in the park that you can apply to, so you can practice the same technique repeatedly.It is also attractive to be able to memorize the technique you want to do in a short time.
The snow that fell the day before flies like a spray of waves.It was exactly FROZEN WAVE.Aiming at a place with snow, E-chan hit it and spattered the powder vigorously.
The powder fluttered with considerable momentum.MZK seems to have covered the camera with snow because of this E-chan's slash.
When I approached with anxiety, "Is it okay?" ...
Despite my worries, I was laughing happily with a lot of snow.
Apparently, this person is also like an adult female photographer who can read the air (laughs).Thanks to that, we were able to continue shooting as much as we could for the rest of the time.
You need speed to make a slash, but Frozen Park has enough speed, so it's easy to set and hit.
The peak of the lip was easy to understand and the timing was easy to grasp.You can improve your free run by learning terrain play in this park.And since there are an infinite number of sliding lines, it is interesting that the sliding lines change depending on the person.
* This FROZEN WAVE PARK was closed on March 3nd this season, but it seems that it will be open next season as well.
Having fully enjoyed this park, we decided to return to our accommodation, Chalet Marunuma.
We decided to soak in the Zazen Onsen, which is a hot spring that flows directly from the source, and slowly enjoy dinner.
This day was the last night and we looked back on this Gunma trip.Each ski resort has its own unique enjoyment, and I feel a sense of fulfillment that it was the best trip.
And when I finished the trip, I had a different image of E-chan before and after sliding together.My previous impression was that snowboarding was an active image, but I thought it was a calm personality, but she thought that calm deposition might be more suitable.
She can think about everything in every detail, and she always has an unwavering belief that her thoughts are ready.I got the impression that he was a rider with his feet on the ground.
She is not only a snowboarder but also a nurse, and she feels relieved to be with her, probably because she is a supporter of people's hearts.
Above all, I can really talk with her.I'm the type to be honest about what I'm thinking, but it took a short time to get to know each other because E-chan answered with real intentions.
For this project, "Travel for Two Women," it may be good to have someone who can really hit anything.By traveling with someone who has something that can be respected not only by snowboarding but also by humans, you can see and absorb the good parts of the other person up close.
It's a short period of time, but by slipping together, drinking alcohol, and waking up together, you can see the lifestyle of the other person.See each other's lifestyles up close and have a good influence on each other, absorb them and incorporate them into your lifestyle.It's interesting to travel with two women because you can do that.
This time too, the shooting trip was quick.I have unforgettable memories of the season.

"I've known Mari for a long time, but I thought she was a very tough person because she was a man, and I was scared and nervous at first.
However, as I was shooting, I enjoyed the collaborative work of keeping in touch with Mari and the cameraman and leaving photos, and everything was fresh and educational.
