Scooter's flagship model, DAYLIFE, has continued to evolve over the course of 29 years and has come to be loved by many snowboarders as a synonym for freeriding boards.
Based on the know-how gained from their long history of scooter free riding, a new model of all-terrain carving board, the "XX", has been developed.
The XX is a model that combines the freedom of a freestyle board with the precision of a carving board, allowing for powerful carving with a feel that adapts to the terrain.
While there are many wide carving boards, the XX has a directional shape with a normal wide waist width and round nose. This provides outstanding control for various snow conditions and terrain. While maintaining freestyle maneuverability, the strong edge grip of the metal plate allows for high-speed carving with little speed loss when turning.
X-shaped metal plate for enhanced torsional rigidity
The biggest feature of the XX is, as the model name suggests, the X-shaped metal plate placed under both feet. This plate is designed based on meticulous calculations of the force transmission when loaded, and precisely controls the torsion during turns. This reduces power loss at high speeds and creates stability and power when carving.
The X-shaped metal plate is positioned to extend to the nose, suppressing initial nose bite while ensuring firm edge grip when loaded, and is designed to allow the board to run naturally. You can draw lines freely and enjoy carving without having to worry about the terrain.
Polyamide top sheet provides both light weight and strength
