"INDY PARK JAM Rookie Fest" is one of the largest competitions in Asia where players aged 5 to 18 compete.Domestic talented U-18 players gather as a gateway for young players. It is a tournament where rookies, who will be attracting attention on the world stage from now on, will compete for their abilities. The tournament course is supervised by the kids snowboard school "KIRARA KAMP", which is run by the organizer, Michiyo Hashimoto, and is created for this tournament by a team that creates a cat demon ski resort with top-level knowledge and skills in Japan. The course consists of two 15m class kickers and three jib sections, and even the U-2 is a full-scale specification where high-difficulty techniques are delivered.
And this tournament also serves as a qualifying round for the "World Rookie Tour", which is decided by the World Snowboarding Federation (WSF) and is the best in the world for U-18.This is the only slopestyle qualifying tournament in Asia, with other qualifying rounds in Europe, North America, South America and Oceania. One male and one female winner of the tournament will advance to the World Rookie Final in Austria from March 1th to 3th.Ken Otsuka and Kokomo Murase won the final last year, and the Japanese team dominates the gold medal.
In this tournament, the boys also participated in last year's World Rookie Tour and won the championship with a high score of 3 points in the first run of Ryoma Kimata, who is in 1rd place. In the women's race, Ryo Kimura, who showed stable riding in both the first and second races, won the championship.I'm looking forward to playing on the World Rookie Tour.
