Ingemar Backman is a rider who is sure to be named as one of the legendary snowboarders. In the mid-1990s, he won two titles at the world's largest big air competition "Air & Style" held in Innsbruck, Austria.In addition, the gigantic backside air scene he unleashed on a quarterpipe in Rix Glensen, Sweden in 2 graced the covers of seven snowboard magazines around the world and shocked history ( Left page photo).Ingemer has just reached a fulfilling time as a snowboarder.
However, in 1999, when the snowboard brand "ATLANTIS" he was riding at that time was acquired and a plan to move the production factory to China was announced, Ingemer who opposed the plan withdrew from ATLANTIS.He couldn't find the board he wanted to ride, and in December of the same year, he was approaching the participation of Air & Style. He started his own brand "ALLIAN" with his friends, Mike and Greg, who have supported the brand all the time.
The brand name "ALLIAN" was inspired by the word Alliance.Ingemer's strong desire to create a snowboard by himself with top riders, staff, and many other friends is included. This is why ALLIAN is called a "snowboard company by snowboarders".
ALLIAN is headquartered in Bee Baton, Oregon, USA, where well-known sports brands are also based.The production plant contracts with Austria's ELAN (now Mothership), which makes the highest quality snowboards in Europe.And to this day, while sensitively grasping the movement of the times, the development of high quality boards that riders are fully satisfied with is continuing.
ALLIAN will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year and will release "BACKMAN" Back to future "" as an anniversary model.The legendary graphics of the ATLANTIS era are reproduced while incorporating ALLIAN's latest technology such as the popular 6mm high camber in the popular PRISM series, carbon fiber that produces exquisite flex balance and repulsive force, and stone finish that promises outstanding gliding performance. ..It has more than enough potential as a model that inherits the legend of the legendary snowboarder Ingemer.
