MAYHEM COLLECTION
Matt Biolos, aka "MAYHEM," is a world-famous surfboard shaper who created LOST SURFBOARDS.
His shapes have been loved by many surfers, from the high-end lines sought after by top surfers to the easy surf lines that offer the ultimate in ease of riding.
Similarly, in snowboarding, he has been making use of his more than 30 years of experience and, in collaboration with LIB TECH, continues to produce unique boards that combine his original ideas with cutting-edge technology.
The MAYHEM collection is a collection of boards that are not bound by conventional ideas and incorporate the perspective of a surfboard shaper to dig into the new joy of snowboarding.
As its name suggests, the ROCKET is an all-mountain directional model with a distinctive tail shape that catches the eye. The wide body and early rise nose maximize the planing surface and generate outstanding buoyancy, allowing you to freely control the powder.
On groomed runs, the progressive oval sidecut, powerful setback camber and stance, and distinctive tail create strong grip like magnet traction, allowing for sharp carving.
This board moves around at rocket speed everywhere, and its explosive acceleration and stability at high speeds are its attractions.
The RETRO RIPPER, featuring a classic swallow tail, is a powder cruiser created by Matt, inspired by the exquisite snow quality in Japan.
The nose has ample volume to maximize buoyancy, and the set-back camber + stance position and the outline that runs smoothly from the complex sidecut to the tail are combined in an exquisite balance to enable the best cruising on the slopes.
New this season is the all-mountain twin model "RAD RIPPER," which is already gaining popularity.
Matt, who has been developing mainly powder and freeride models, has finally completed this freestyle board, which was developed with Devin Tubbs, a local rider in Mammoth Mountain, where Matt is based. It uses an orthodox camber and an OP core that uses aspen and paulownia wood to exert strong power. A board that exerts the strong pop power required for freestyle tricks. It can be used aggressively on anything from artificial objects in the park to natural terrain on big mountains. Of course, the freeride performance that allows you to enjoy carving on icy hard runs comfortably regardless of the location, which is a feature of the MAYHEM collection, is also attractive.
