I asked Hyodo Ryu about [Fastech] and [Multi-entry], their advantages and how to choose them.

"What binding to use".This will make a big difference in slip and style. "Which model to choose" is important, but "what kind of mounting system is used for the binding" is also an important point. There are two types of mounting systems for SP binding, [Fastech] and [Multi-entry], but what are the advantages of each?I asked Hyodo Ryu.

[Fastech]

There is no heel cup, and the rear entry system is installed by raising the high back and pushing the entire foot toward the tip of the toe.

[Multi-entry]

Remove the Evo buckle on the toe cup and ankle strap to loosen the strap. It can be attached and detached without tilting the high back.

— In what kind of scene do you feel the ease of use of [Fastech] and [Multi-entry]?

Hyodo:[Fastech] doesn't take long to put on and take off, so even if you are late to line up on the lift because of the powder in the morning, 4 or XNUMX people will be out (laughs). The biggest merit is that you can wear it so quickly.Once you get used to it, it's easy and you can't use any other bindings anymore. [Multi-entry] is really nice to be able to put on and take off with powder. For example, if you are addicted to powder, it is very difficult to lower the highback and escape, but in the case of a multi-entry system, you can remove the strap with a ratchet, so escaping is easy. You can also fine-tune the strap while sliding, so it's nice to be able to fine-tune it according to the situation.

— How about in a situation where you often hike up?Please let me know if there is a method that you are actually using and that you can use it comfortably if you use it like this.

Hyodo:[Fastech] is recommended for situations where you often hike up.I think it's perfect for hiking up because it's quick to put on and take off.If you loosen the ankle strap a little, it will be easier to put on and take off.

What kind of person do you think each is suitable for?

Hyodo:[Fastech] is ideal for those who want to start quickly, those who want to make it easier, [Multi-entry] is for those who slip powder, those who want to fine-tune the strap while slipping, and beginners who can not wear bindings while standing. ..
