18-19 model Thorough commentary on "CORE" with high-end average

image

"CORE" has the characteristics of the basic structure of SP Bindings and has an average of all performances. The footbed is equipped with EVA with a flat shape. It is easy to step on, the area in contact with the boots is increased, and stability and a natural feeling are important. The ankle strap has a high holdability, and the shape of the ankle makes it easy to bend, making it important to move the ankle. The middle flex asymmetrical highback is used for the highback. The hold between the toe cup and the high back has the highest level of hold in SP Bindings. In addition, the only SLAB-based disc that uses a "resin base".The flexibility unique to the resin base makes the ride comfortable. It has a strong sense of unity between the binding and boots, and is the standard model among the models that adopted the SLAB base.In other words, "CORE" is the standard model for SP Bindings. There is also a lineup of multi-entry types, and if you are using SP Bindings for the first time, there is no doubt that you will start from "CORE".

A flat EVA is installed on the footbed. The concept is to increase the area in contact with the boots so that you can control it smoothly while feeling more natural. It's not hard riding, there is no melody like powder and jibing, and moderate flex is the individuality of "CORE".

FS2 is used for the ankle strap. The asymmetrical design holds the ankle firmly and keeps the ankle movable by designing the middle part thin. The thick strap is gentle but holds firmly.

A flexible resin material is used for the toe cup.The flexible shape has a high fitting with the boots and produces a moderate reaction. If you set it tight, you can get a high response.

Ergo highback is used for the highback. It greatly supports the movement of the inside of the foot and supports the basic gliding of free riding.

What kind of riding is "CORE" suitable for?

△ Basic gliding

Since a resin disc is used for the SLAB base, it has a moderate reaction and ease of handling unique to resin. It has the overall characteristics of SLAB base, and you can enjoy the moderate reaction and range of motion of the resin in the part of operability using the ankle.Recommended for users who want to enjoy snowboarding all-round with a high average of basic gliding performance.Hard free run is not the main.It doesn't ski around jibing or powder, but it's a perfect specification for those who want to ski all-round if they go to a ski resort.Enjoy relaxing creaking with your friends.

Rider / Ryu Hyodo

Hyodo Ryu likes the moderate movement of "CORE".Originally, he likes to move like a brotherhood, but for him who has a big body and is blessed with a skeleton, he chooses "CORE" which is stiffer and more responsive than brotherhood. Each model has a concept, but it is very important to choose one that suits the rider's body. For example, brotherhood is the most flexible but lacks leg strength and may not feel flexible to light people. On the other hand, if you are blessed with leg strength and skeleton, you may feel that you are too flexible. Please choose according to the recommended settings and the skeleton of the rider.

Because of the high potential of the body, he is pork in style. It has the response and holdability required for ollies.

Hyodo Ryu says that the range of motion in the nose and tail directions is the greatest attraction.I can ride in this position because the high skill and the performance of "CORE" fit.

The binding performance that makes it easy to move the head position toward the nose facilitates press tricks.

Lightly tricky movements

Hyodo Ryu is a type who values freestyle elements more than standing up a board on a carving turn and enjoys tricks many times. He chooses the "CORE" multi-entry type.In the summer, I like the multi-entry type, which is easy to put on and take off, because I use the outdoor jibing practice facility called Nagano Brush as my base of activities. SP Bindings are the only bindings that don't require a heel cup for 2 strap bindings.

Color variations

Multi-entry type is black only

How is it different from multi-entry?

The type with a buckle on the toe cup is a multi-entry model.Since it has a buckle, it can be finely adjusted according to the situation. Also, if you get off the powder area or course, you need to urgently remove the binding. In that case, the buckle of the toe cup can be removed and the buckle of the ankle strap can be removed without knocking down the high back, so escape is possible. The buckle of the ankle strap is attached to the little finger side of the foot unlike the normal type. The hold feeling is slightly different depending on the position of the ankle's Evo buckle. The normal type is recommended for users who slip with their knees inside.

If you mainly carve, multi-entry is not recommended.Since the toe cup has a buckle, there is a high possibility that it will come into contact with the snow surface.I want carving users to use the normal type.

Multi-entry is also recommended for indoor and outdoor practice facilities (indoor ski resorts and summer practice facilities that use brushes) and for users who mainly park and jib up.This is because the frequency of putting on and taking off is high, and when removing the binding on the air mat, multi-entry is easier to put on and take off.

Some users will find "CORE" in every category.Understand your body and skills and choose the right model. I'm looking forward to opening the door of SP Bindinsg from "CORE".
