What I think of KIRARA KAMP, which is in its 17th year

KIRARA KAMP is finally celebrating its 17th year!
The next dream of the Olympics is "to live with your favorite children."
I started Kirara Camp in 2003 just with that feeling. (At that time, I was in my seventh year of snowboarding lol)
At first, there were very few kids snowboarders, and if there was a need, I flew to Kyushu and Hokkaido to convey the fun and experience of snowboarding.
Thanks to everyone's support for activities such as BURTON and Alts Bandai, I was able to fly around to popularization activities ☆

Kirara Camp is not a camp for training professionals and Olympic athletes.I don't aim to improve.A good environment for what I learned from riding a snowboard, for each person to find out what they love, work hard on what they love, and live a fulfilling and shining life. Prepare good people, stare at each person, and convey the joy of snowboarding with all your might.
It's such a camp.
Under such circumstances, children who became fond of snowboarding began to voluntarily work on snowboarding and needed a place to announce and support, so they created competitions, videos and clubs, connected to the world, and just messed up. While supporting the children, many people supported us, and the road to nurturing to the world was connected.

And in the 16th year, 5 graduates from "KIRARA KAMP" participated in the Winter Pyeongchang Olympics, and from the in-house run kids slopestyle competition "INDY PARK JAM" (13th year), as usual, the winners Invitation to the World Rookie Final where the world's top teens gather, and the winner is an invitation to X-Games, and Takeru Otsuka won the championship! !!
There were many things along the way, such as marriage, entrepreneurship, childbirth, and the effects of the earthquake, but I'm really happy that 16 years after I started Kirara Camp, I was able to connect the path of "from my first snowboarding experience to the world." It was a milestone season with lots of excitement.
I am full of gratitude to everyone who walked with me (tears)
