snowboarding technique
To him who continues to convey fun beyond the frame
We approached about carving and item selection!

QXNUMX: What kind of snowboarding do you usually do?

Taniguchi: Normally, while working at the school at Hachi-Hachi Kita Ski Resort in Hyogo Prefecture, I give lessons to customers and to school staff. Meanwhile, I'm snowboarding while playing the whole mountain.

QXNUMX: I heard that the school at Hachikita Ski Resort also operates as the principal, and I heard that you formed a team called Club West.
What kind of activities do you do in the team?

Taniguchi: Club West is like going to school, and the instructor in charge of Club West will guide you throughout the season.Last year, about XNUMX people from a wide range of areas, including Shikoku and Hiroshima, as well as Kansai, belonged to a wide range of generations from their teens to their XNUMXs. I want to go out to the top!”
With goals such as, the instructor will support and guide them.People with the same direction come together, so after the lesson, we work hard together, practice together, and skate freely. In particular, the basics of carving and snowboarding are the focus, so it is suitable for those who want to learn carving and improve their snowboarding skills. We manage them together.
We are currently looking for members for the 22-23 season.

QXNUMX: You are currently recruiting members.
Can anyone become a member?
How do I become a member?

Taniguchi: Any member is OK as long as they can make consecutive turns on the slope! It's even better if you have a goal.
To become a member, please apply from the application page on the school website, pay the admission fee, and you are done!
Get ready for the hot winter!

QXNUMX: I'm sorry, but please tell me your HP address.
Even if I want to participate, I can't take it easy,
I think there are some people who say that, but can you give me a word to push their backs?

Taniguchi: That's right, really!I feel that there are a lot of people who can't take a step.Basically, there are many introverted people, so I want to participate, but there are also people who are watching from afar lol
But once you get the courage to go in, I think there are a lot of people who think, “Well, it’s surprisingly easy to get used to, and it’s fun! It’s fun!”
Because the instructors are all frank and hot than the impression I saw!Everyone else is from Kansai. .There are many interesting people. The members have similar goals and awareness, so it's easy to hit it off.As a result, it is not comfortable.Like.
Oh, I'm sorry I couldn't finish it with just one word. . .In a nutshell, if you don't move first, it won't start, and it won't change.Through the sport of snowboarding, friends who can work hard are waiting!

I've heard that when it comes to carving, not only the boards, but also the boots and bindings are very particular. What items do you recommend?

Taniguchi: That's right! As for the boots, you can rely on them when setting up your board. And it is required to fit tightly to eliminate power loss.Especially during carving, if the heel floats, the loss will increase, so it is very important to hold around the heel. The head's eight boa is recommended for carving because it has a liquid fit that allows you to freely adjust the fit of the heel to suit your individual needs. The outer is also solid and reliable boots.
As for the bindings, I like the sLAB.ONE, which has an overwhelmingly strong hold on the ankle, but also allows a certain amount of freedom. In addition, this binding has a rear entry system that makes it very easy to put on and take off, and since it does not have a heel cup, the binding does not drag even during heelside turns where the board is sharply raised, which is typical of carving.
And it's important for me that the base part of the Vine is thin, so I can feel the contact with the snow surface and the snow surface conditions!I also like the direct reaction of the aluminum base plate!

QXNUMX: I see! After all, you have a firm commitment to gear selection!
What is the fun of carving for you, Mr. Taniguchi?

Taniguchi: After all, it's the feeling of running through the snow surface at high speed and going berserk. And it is very exciting to draw a beautiful circle by connecting turns while maintaining the balance with the external force!

QXNUMX: In QXNUMX, I got the impression that you enjoy snowboarding not only by carving, but by using the entire mountain.
Do you have any goals for snowboarding yourself this season?

Taniguchi: I usually don't get too hung up on the sport, and I value the enjoyment of snowboarding. The improvement of the overall gliding ability brings out new possibilities of snowboarding and provides various ways to enjoy it.Recently, simple and easy-to-understand events such as races and banked slalom are interesting, so I would like to participate in such competitions more and more and have fun!
Of course, I would like to lead the school by achieving better results than last season, mainly in the carving competition, which is my main business!
