Ando Nanito

NAITO ANDO

simg_0459It was the first time in a year that I met Nanrai Noboru, and I could feel that he had grown a lot. By joining the kissmark team and accumulating more experience as a top snowboarder than ever before, the self-confidence that has gained the ability to compete on the world stage naturally seeps out. is different.Aiming for the stage of the Pyeongchang Olympics, I am looking forward to Nan Ido's activities and growth this season.

Instead of standing on the same stage as the world's top riders
the goal is to win

Q. After one full year as a kissmark rider, how have you changed?
The kissmark team had their own coaches accompany them on overseas expeditions, and we were able to train in a more fulfilling environment.I think there were a lot of good opportunities to hone my riding, partly because of the movie shooting. And most of all, it's fun.Over the past year, I've been able to raise my jump height even more while sticking to my style.I'm pretty confident about my height.I feel that I was able to improve my skills the most, even with high-difficulty tricks.

Q. Tell us about last season when you finished third at the World Cup in Park City?
Actually, at that time, there was a women's final before the men's final started, and Kim Chloe scored a perfect score of 100.I got a perfect score, so everyone around me was excited.

Q. How do you usually practice?
Halfpipe is a relatively short time, and it feels like you have to decide the time and concentrate on practicing. When I'm skating, I listen to music and concentrate.Basically, I'm doing it while thinking for myself. If I'm really worried, I watch videos or talk to my coach, but when I'm practicing a difficult technique, it's important to be able to concentrate.I don't want to get hurt, so I'm the type to do it steadily without overdoing it.

Q. What are you currently working on in terms of technique?
Is it the number of techniques?I would like to improve my skills. What I'm practicing now is a combination of double cork-double cork-front side 1440.I would like to firmly decide on this and win the match.

Q. Favorite rider, what kind of style influences you?
My favorite is Danny Davis.I think he's good not only as a half-pipe player, but also all-around carving and kicker, I think he's cool and cool in various scenes. In the future, I think I will become a rider who can show my own color in all of those snowboards.

Q. What are your goals for the PyeongChang Olympics?
I want to improve myself and aim for the podium and victory among the world's top riders on the Olympic stage.I'm confident in my height, so I want to decide my best routine in the end.For that reason, we will do our best this season.

Kiyono Minami
SAYANO MINAMI

simg_0400sThe kissmark brand is very popular with girls.Kiyono Minami joined the team from this season as a new girl rider.Although she lives in Osaka, she has been practicing at the halfpipe of Takasu Snow Park since she was little, and she has accumulated experience by going around competitions.Taking advantage of her participation in the World Cup in Sapporo last season, she wants to show skates that will impress people at the world level, and she will start her new season aiming for a higher stage.

I want to be a rider who can skate and impress people
So I want to improve myself

Q. How did you first encounter snowboarding and how did you start halfpipe?
I think it was when I was in the lower grades of elementary school, and when I went on a family trip to the snowy mountains, if I was the only one skiing, I wouldn't be able to do it, so I decided to snowboard.I started participating in competitions when I was in the second or third grade of elementary school. At first, I started participating in kicker competitions, and then I started participating in halfpipe competitions. There is no competition that left a particularly strong impression on me, but there was an indoor ski resort called Across, and Circle K was held there. I was able to win the cup competition, and the competition became more and more interesting.I've been participating in tournaments since I was a kid, so I've been doing it as a player for 2-3 years.

Q. What is the charm of the half pipe for you?
After all, it's a place where various people can see your skating. Also, it's the feeling of floating when you fly high. For me, I think it's characteristic is that the air is as high as the boys, and it's fun when you fly high.I myself am a little masculine, or roughly speaking, rather than delicate skating, I tend to make attacks. It seems that you have no choice but to do it without thinking about the details.I think that kind of place is suitable for half pipes.

Q. What kind of riding style do you want to pursue?
Which rider inspires you?I want to master a higher and more dynamic riding style. His specialty is Rodeo 540.There are surprisingly few girls who do vertical rotation, so I want to make it my own characteristic.I admire Piet Piroinen. When I was in the sixth grade of elementary school, I saw his halfpipe skating at the Vancouver Olympics on TV and thought it was a really cool style, so I wanted to aim for the world from there.

Q. How did you feel when you participated in the World Cup in Sapporo last season?
First of all, the fact that I was able to participate in international competitions around the world made me really excited.I was very inspired to see so many great athletes in front of me.Furthermore, at that competition, I was able to skate the best I have ever done as a snowboarder.

Q. What do you like about kissmark gear?
Anyway, I think the design is really nice.In addition, the functionality is solid down to the smallest details, the performance is stable even if the hard gear is slipped all day long, and the wear has excellent water repellency and is completely waterproof. It keeps me comfortable all day long, even in the toughest conditions. That's why I was so happy to join the kissmark team.

Q. How would you like to be active in the kissmark team?
There are many talented players on the kissmark team, so I would like to learn a lot and improve my skills. My goal is to have people around the world see my skating. When I was little, I was moved by Piet Piroinen, and I think it would be great if I could skate like that and give me the opportunity to seriously aim for the world. This season, I would like to go to the United States with my team members from December to train, and from there I would like to play in domestic tournaments, mainly in Hokkaido.
