What is COWDAY
For six years from 2015, we held a competition to determine the top of freestyle snowboarding as the highest peak contest in the Japanese snowboarding scene.Held every year since the first year at Hakuba 6 Ski Resort in Nagano Prefecture. (Not held in 47 due to record light snowfall.)
In 2019, it was held at Umekita Garden in front of Osaka Station, and recorded 3 visitors in 8,000 days.The number of visitors was unusual for a snowboarding contest, and it has grown into a snowboarding event that represents Japan. In 2022, events will be held throughout the year, including an online video contest and a snowboard/slopestyle contest on snow.We held an online contest unique to the era, and a slopestyle contest that is an Olympic event.
