Interview with Mie Uchiyama

Actually, since I was 19 years old, I had a chance to see her skating hard. With a serious look, her attitude of trying to absorb everything without missing a word is enough to feel that she will accomplish something unknown, coupled with her still-developing snowboarding skills. rice field. Not many people know her at that time, but I also know that she spent a lot of time on basic = basic riding.

I think it's good that there are many people who want to become world-class riders, do things that no one is doing, and want to fly higher than anyone else. However, there aren't many professional or aspiring riders who have a well-ordered process to get there and are doing their own schedule management, task management, and body maintenance.

No one knows if she will reach her goal, but the only thing she can say is to understand and self-control what she should do towards her goal. That is.

This time, we will send you an interview with Mie Uchiyama, who has just started a new challenge.

How did you spend your time from starting snowboarding to becoming a professional?

I used to want to skate with good people and meet professionals, but I didn't know how to get better and I didn't have the environment to learn how to choose gear. And there was no one who could teach or lead snowboarding.

mie14

I wanted to get better in a short time, and in my case I was still young, so I created an environment for snowboarding in the form of a snowboarding vocational school, and as a result, my schoolmates and seniors who led me. I was blessed with an environment where there was a teacher.Of course, every day I always slipped behind good people, chased, stuck together, and stole the slips of various people.Everyone seemed to have fun with their techniques and make-up, but I was awkward and scared, so I couldn't try at all.

Was it jealousy at that time? But I just felt frustrated. But I'm not a person who has a strong will or a goal.Lol
Still, I just wanted to be good at snowboarding.

Then I got a professional qualification and I thought it was my turn to do it.
Think about how you can play professionally on this mountain at your own level in this condition at this ski resort today.
That's why professionals are just qualifications, but I think they are the minimum and absolutely necessary to prove to others.

mie4

How have you been doing this season?

Until last season, I used to snowboard as a stoic athlete just to improve my skills and my rider activities, but I would like to meet again with people who watched over my slip and humanity and supported me. I did.
When I'm aiming for the Olympics for two years, I'm not just aiming for myself, but with the meaning of gratitude to the local children and those who support me.
I wanted to meet the people who supported me and thank them, and I wanted to snowboard more with those people around me.

Of course, between the practice shooting events, I made time to meet the children at the local ski resort, people in the area where I rarely meet professionals.

mie1

Did you get anything from aiming for the Olympics?

As a result, I realized that I didn't have anything.
It wasn't just my own strength that went well, but I was able to realize that I was able to stand up to this point with the support of those around me.When I'm slipping, I get advice, scold, and watch over me.

I'm neither a top-notch player nor a celebrity, but whether I'm at the Olympics or not, a lot of people are still around me.
I think that the people, manufacturers, and supporters who are still there are the strengths and merits.
"It's not a type that stands out, so it's okay to keep it steadily and muddy," and when I thought about it, I gained irreplaceable self-confidence.

mie12

From now on, I would like to become a comprehensive consulting and opinion leader for playing in the snow.
I want to show myself doing my best at the tournament because I will be a model, a model of life with a wonderful snowboard, and I will continue to admire it.This means that I want to show my gratitude to the local children and the fans who support me, not just for myself like when I am aiming for the Olympic Games for two years.

In the future, we will aim for activities that work inside and outside the industry, such as Mie Uchiyama = snowboarding.

If you think so, it's decided that you can enjoy snowboarding the most! !! !! !! !!I can't help but enjoy the pipes and backcountry! !! !!Lol

mie2

Have you ever had a hard time snowboarding on the front lines?

As a rider, I'm amazing with added value! It was hard for me to think that I had to remind myself!Lol
Actually no one wants it.Lol
It wasn't terrible, but the gap with my heart, which was a celebrity, was tough!Lol

However, I realized that I was so blessed to snowboard, such as support beyond my ability, media support, gear of the leading brand maker I am using now, and on the contrary, I became honest with my heart. I was also able to thank you.

mie3

Do you have any new challenges or goals in your position as a professional?

I'm a professional and I don't think I'm a professional yet.As a professional snowboarder, I would like to have more and more people remember the name of Mie Uchiyama and do my best to make people yearn for themselves. And I want to draw in "fun" and pull in "people".

Of course, I want to show how I'm doing my best at the tournament, and I want to make a good slide and leave it in photos and videos so that I can get to know myself in the media, and I = snowboarding not only in the snowboarding industry but also in the eyes of the general public. With this icon, I would like people who are involved in snowboarding for the first time to become familiar heroes and be drawn into the fun world of snowboarding, and to come to the snowy mountains.

At the same time, I especially want to attract people and children from areas where I can't usually interact with professionals. Not only do I want to expand the range of dating at events and camps and give them a place, but I also want to be closer to myself as a professional.

As a comprehensive consulting and opinion leader for playing in the snow, I want to become a person who works in the industry, such as Mie Uchiyama = Snowboarding, and I want to aim for it.

mie5

Finally

I learned knowledge and skills at a snowboarding vocational school, but I want people around me to do their best at school and work and enjoy snowboarding as much as possible as a hobby and fun.And I think the hobbyist snowboarders are the ones who are leading the snowboarding industry.

Most of the people who do it as a hobby didn't know how to get better or how to choose gear, and I always wanted to meet a professional or skate with someone who was better than me. It didn't come true. This time I finally thought it was my turn to do it.So, if you are with me at the Cupid Valley ski resort in Sendai or Niigata prefecture, where you grew up, in the Tohoku region where there are few riders, and where you grew up, we will guide you through fun snowboarding!
