"Isn't it insane to push a unicycle into a stranger's house suddenly, even though it's a volunteer?"I was surprised at the miserable sight in front of me.It was a strange sight that I couldn't believe that people lived until a week ago.The interior of the house was already quiet after the household goods were taken out, but the windows remained broken, the entire room was soiled with mud, and there were some puddles under the floor.At the time of the typhoon, the water of the Chikuma River was flooded to near the ceiling on the first floor.If you look at the mud lines on the wall, you can see how ferocious it was.
In such a situation, the landlords were scraping the mud under the floor to the outside.We said a few words and immediately started working.However, even if you scoop up the mud with a square scoop, there are too many gravel and stones to scoop up the mud well.In addition to the unfamiliar soil digging work, if you are confused because you do not know how to stand around among strangers, the landlord says, "It is easier to scoop after avoiding gravel with this!" It started raining in the afternoon, so the work for the day was finished a little earlier.When I finished, I felt tired just right.It was completely hard work, but I think that even women can do it because they can work at their own pace and have many breaks.
