This year marks the 1997th year since DC's snowboard boots were introduced in 27. DC boots have been popular since their release due to their high design quality and sensational looks. DC has created many models equipped with innovative technology, making use of countless trial and error and feedback from riders. Among the technical boots released by DC, the product we would like to pay attention to this season is JUDGE, which is equipped with BURTON's STEP ON® system. JUDGE is a long-selling model that has been loved by fans for many years, and is also a high-end model that DC proudly delivers. By adopting the STEP ON® system, which has been attracting attention in recent years, the speed of binding removal on snow is unmatched. The benefits of the speed of removal and removal are endless, such as starting immediately from a skating state after getting off the lift, and putting on and dropping without crouching from bare feet on ungroomed snow.
In addition to adopting the BOA® dual zone structure that allows the upper and lower parts of the foot to be adjusted separately, the inner lining of the latest model JUDGE has been significantly updated. The comfort of the inner lining that actually supports the foot is very important, and even if STEP ON® is in good condition, it is meaningless if the foot is not warm and firmly held in the boot. For this reason, the Response Liner III installed in JUDGE is filled with Primaloft® insulation. Primaloft is a pseudo-feather material made of artificial fibers that was developed at the request of the US military as a filling material for cold weather gear in cold regions. It is a material that is currently attracting attention because it is not only soft and light like feathers, but also has high heat retention and flexibility.
The question is how the boots feel, but the patrols at Tsugaike Mountain Resort, whose main battlefield is the snow, have proven this. Patrols go to the snowy mountains on sunny days, cloudy days, and bad weather, and are a key part of keeping the ski resort safe. The gear they use almost every day during the season is used much more frequently than the average user. Moreover, patrols have absolute confidence in the gear they use, as they are entrusting their lives to it in harsh environments. That is why they would never continue to use a product that is unusable, even if it is flattering. Such patrols use DC's JUDGE, and especially the model equipped with the STEP ON® system. It has the agility to move instantly on the scene, the functionality to be used in harsh environments, and the durability to be used every day. It can be said that JUDGE STEP ON® covers all of these elements.

Equipped with STEP ON®, a quick-release system that fastens with three connection points. The boot sole has no metal parts, so it is less likely to get clogged with snow.
The upper and lower parts of the boot can be tightened separately with two BOA® straps, allowing you to fine-tune the fit to suit your style of skiing.
It uses PrimaLoft® insulation, which is extremely lightweight and provides excellent warmth, and also features a heat-moldable EVA mold for a custom fit.

"Last season I used DC boots and STEP ON®. I felt that they were very slippery, as I could put weight firmly on the toes and heels. Compared to regular bindings, they felt completely strange and performed well. When performing patrol duties, we often move on one foot and we also need to treat injured people quickly, so the DC boots and STEP ON®, which can be put on and taken off quickly, have increased the efficiency of our work. I feel that the STEP ON® system will be indispensable for patrol work in snowy mountains like ours in the future." - Hata Fugo, Patrol Member, Tsugaike Mountain Resort
