■ Please introduce yourself.

Hello, nice to meet you.

I'm Keralt Castrieto from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

■ You are from Spain. Are there many ski resorts in Spain?

There are several ski resorts in Spain,

Most are in the northeast area, and a little more in the south area.

But there are also very big places.

■ What made you start snowboarding?

My parents love mountains so much

When I was a kid, I used to take me to ski on weekends.

Snow has been familiar to us since we were children.

When I saw a person skiing on a snowboard for the first time, I thought, "I want to ride too!"

I tried it right away.

Then I remember having a lot of fun.

Then I started snowboarding.

■ Do you remember the tournament you participated in for the first time in your life?

I remember.

The slalom tournament was my first tournament.

After that, I was in the tournament several times,

I was able to win the championship for the first time in a certain tournament

I thought, "The tournament may be fun."

Since then, I have come to participate in domestic competitions in earnest.

■ Have you ever been to Japan?

This is my third visit to Japan.

I first came to Japan for the 2009 Junior World Championship in Gifu.

The second time at the World Cup.

■ Are there any Japanese foods that left an impression on you when you came to Japan?

When I go to a Japanese restaurant, it's delicious and I'm really surprised!

I especially love sashimi, and when I come to Japan I eat as much as I can.

Of all the sashimi, do you like squid sashimi?

■ Where did you skate last year? Also, please tell us your recommended ski resort.

I always start skiing in the Northern Hemisphere, North America at the beginning of the season.

The Colorado area is recommended as there are many good ski areas.

Personally, I love Brecken Ridge.

The main season may change depending on the snow conditions,

Moving from North America to Europe while going around the tournament,

I move to California in the spring.Mammoths are also my favorite.

■ What was the most memorable tournament last season (2012)?

After all, I think it's the X Games tournament I participated in last year.

It was impressive with a lot of spectators, a great environment and a lot of top level riders.

The rest is Burton High Fives in New Zealand.

It was the first tournament of the season, and I was able to get a good result of 2nd place.

■ Do you pay attention to your diet in your daily life?

I don't pay much attention to my meals.

However, I usually eat a lot of fish and meat,

I try to eat a lot of sashimi in Japan.Lol

I haven't been so concerned about dieting so far.

■ Please tell me about training other than snowboarding.

Practice on a trampoline before the season

I am doing physical training.

The main is a trampoline that gives you a sense of the air.

■ It was two years ago that I was sponsored by YONEX. Is YONEX different from other boards?

YONEX feels completely different from other boards.

When I first tried YONEX snowboarding

I was surprised at its lightness and noticed that the response was very good.

And most importantly,

The YONEX board fits my riding style very well.

This season is the same as teammate RyoREVI'm riding on, but the compatibility is very good.

yxiv13_q12

■ If you decide to participate this year, you will be participating in three consecutive tournaments, but are there any major skills you are practicing?

Of course, I think the Sochi Olympics are the goal of the next season,

That's why I'm training hard now.

I also use airbags to learn new tricks.

I can't say the tricks I'm secretly practicing here ...

I'm practicing vertical rotation with an airbag.

It's very risky to suddenly do a new vertical rotating trick with a pipe.

■ Please tell me how to spend the off-season.

During the off-season and summer, I meet my family and friends in Spain.

I also skateboard from time to time.

Go to the gym, go to the beach and swim ...

I want to do the exact opposite of winter as much as possible.

Because the winter season is very busy.

■ Where should I check your rider activities in the future?

It's uploaded on Twitter and website, so

Please see it!
