The third one
Working as a head ambassador
Udon girl "ELLY"
Curious who talks about cosplay as a hobby
What does snowboarding mean to ELLY?
QXNUMX: How did you start snowboarding? What kind of skating do you usually do?
ELLY: I've been skiing since I can remember, and when I saw my mother's younger sister and her husband snowboarding, I thought it was cool and that's how I got started!
From high school until I was 24.5 years old, I didn't really go there because there weren't many people around me who did snowboarding.
My style was Guratori at first, but now it's slope style!
QXNUMX: I heard that you were selected as a head ambassador for an event called NEXT. Why did you decide to participate in this event? Please let me know if there is a decisive factor in being selected as an ambassador.
ELLY: I joined NEXT simply because I thought it would be fun, and because I wanted to have fun with all my friends.
The same head ambassadors, Yuma and Sayupi, are my friends, and I was really happy when they were selected as heads together.
Is it because the decisive factor that was chosen as an ambassador was definitely conspicuous?Actually, I like cosplay as a hobby and I used to participate in comic markets, but since I don't have the skills to do a jib, I wanted to stand out and be different from the others, so Sayupi and I cosplayed and participated. .
I was wondering if there were others, but we were the only strangers who were cosplaying in the heavy snow, so it really stood out.
QXNUMX: Even in the heavy snow, cosplay is amazing! !smile Why did you want to become an ambassador? Please let me know if there is any reason.
ELLY: I didn't think I'd be able to do it in the first place, so I can't say anything about it, but I thought it would be fun if I could, and I wondered if I could experience things that I wouldn't normally be able to do!
I'm full of curiosity, so I was thrilled that I might be able to learn about a world I didn't know!
QXNUMX: What are you currently working on as an ambassador, what do you want to do in the future, what are your goals?
ELLY: I want to be an ambassador who is cute and can skate like Udon-chan, so I'm training my diet and board skills (laughs).
I thought it would be cool if a girl in cosplay was skating as hard as a boy😍
That's the goal!
QXNUMX: Finally, please give a word of advice to girl riders who are aiming to become ambassadors.
ELLY: Rather than aiming to become a rider or an ambassador, I would like you to think of it as a passing point for enjoying your snowboarding life.Looking at riders and ambassadors, I feel that there are many people like that.I think there are times when things don't go well or when you feel frustrated, but it's fun to think about why you're doing snowboarding.I think this can be said about any sport, but people who push themselves tend to forget their original intentions, so I think there are times when they lose sight of why they are doing what they are doing.I think there are many people like that among those who aim to become riders and ambassadors.I don't want you to end up in a painful situation because you're doing it for fun, but you're making strange shibari yourself.Snowboarding is the way to make friends of all ages and genders by skating with various people every year and receiving various stimuli, so I want you to have a good life.Let's spend our youth together \( ´ω` )/
