"La Zone" A short film featuring Europe's legendary backcountry snowboarding area.

In the early 2000s, filmer David Vladyka and a few riders discovered a secluded area on the French-Swiss border that had great potential for filming freestyle snowboarding.

The site featured undulating terrain that was perfect for building jumps.To keep the spot a secret, riders deliberately dubbed it the ambiguous nickname "La Zone."

In the decade that followed, La Zone became one of the most legendary freestyle snowboarding spots across Europe, with shots featured in Absinthe's movies and many others.

Now, 20 years later, JONES team riders Matt Cher and Vlad are back in La Zone to shoot a movie, but the area has become a popular ski touring destination.
