Kawaba Ski Resort Opening Report !!

I went for the first time on December 12th!
Gathering information while running through Kanetsu in the morning.I only have half a day, and I went to Kawaba Ski Resort because it was close to Kanagawa.
If you check the weather forecast, it will be snowy in Kawaba as well as other neighboring mountains.Well, it was early December and I didn't expect powder.
Moreover, it was a warm sunny day in Kanagawa, Tokyo, and it was snowing suddenly when I got off the Numata interchange with the feeling that I should just wear a board for the time being.
The uphill road to the river was covered with snow, and this wasn't the case ... I thought it was really powdery.Of course it didn't rain as much as in the high season, but it was about 30 cm thick.The walls and lips of the course haven't grown up yet, but it doesn't matter because it's the tension of the first slip.It was the best.I haven't digged much to other ski resorts because I'm only Hakuba, but if the slopes are so fun in the first half of December, I think it would be quite interesting to come to the high season when the snowfall is stable.
It is also a big attraction that it is within 2 hours from the metropolitan area!Seattle, where many hardcore snowboarders are growing up, is so far from the ski slopes.You can afford it.Even if you live in the metropolitan area, you can slip powder in half a day.Let's all go out to the mountains more!
