Head straight there in your snowboarding gear!! Relax in the kotatsu lounge
What is "Ski-in, Ski-out, Kotatsu Lounge"?
1) A warm place in the snow (Kotatsu lounge)
During the event, several kotatsu (heated tables) will be set up on the open terrace of Hotaru Street.
The shop is located halfway up the slope, so you can snowboard right up to the front of the store. From the last run, you can change the scene directly to the Kotatsu Lounge. When the sun goes down, the lights on the terrace and near the kotatsu are lit up.
Combined with the light of the snow, it creates a warm atmosphere. Add in family, friends, oden, and alcohol, and you'll feel like celebrating the day.
2) An Oden Bar - A great place to stop by after the snow
This season, an "Oden Bar" has been newly opened inside "Cafe & Bar Tsukino".
Here you can purchase oden skewers made with seafood and wild vegetables, as well as Hokkaido sake, wine, and beer. The oden skewers, which can be ordered individually, come in a variety of combinations, including shrimp, salmon, and wild vegetables such as butterbur and bamboo shoots. The flavor is further enhanced when paired with "dashiwari sake," which is made with oden broth flavored with kelp.
{Examples of oden skewers = shrimp skewers (shrimp and fish cakes) / squid skewers (ikameshi) / cod skewers (cod, carrots and corn) / salmon skewers (salmon and small potatoes) / octopus skewers (octopus and bamboo shoots)}
3) Lots of seafood! You can also enjoy the "Special Oden Hotpot"
"I want to warm myself up in the kotatsu and soak in the afterglow of today's skiing." At times like these, you can order the "Special Oden Hotpot."
This is a somewhat luxurious and varied oden hotpot that uses a generous amount of luxurious seafood unique to Hokkaido, such as crab and shrimp, and wild vegetables such as butterbur and bamboo shoots.
Enjoying a hotpot while chatting about snowboarding with friends is sure to warm you up from the inside out.
You can also enjoy the change in flavor with the accompanying crab roe, mountain wasabi, and yuzu miso, and you'll definitely understand the meaning of ``tasting it to the fullest.''
