Recap for 2018/19

Hello, this is CAP (@ kei4cap).I haven't updated it at all, but I'm still alive. This season is almost over (it was practically finished at the beginning of April) It is a really busy season and the number of skiing days is decreasing year by year to 4 days, but the skiing time per day has increased dramatically so it is 76 years I feel that it was the most slippery season in Japan.I will explain the reason later, and I would like to look back on 1/15.

On the first day of the 18/19 season, the world's largest indoor ski resort "Wanda" in Harbin, China, started. It was the largest in the world and was overwhelmingly larger than the "Ski Dubai" in Dubai, the Middle East, which I visited long ago.The price was quite high for that ...The snow quality is a little slippery, which is peculiar to indoor slopes. However, there was also a jib park, and I felt the seriousness of China.

My main job during the season was to accept many Australian (OZ) and New Zealanders (Kiwi) tours in Fukushima prefecture (= concierge-like).As you know, Fukushima Prefecture had almost no inbounds due to the effects of the nuclear accident after the earthquake.Over the past few years, we have carried out steady sales activities and promotions in Australia and NZ without any kicks, and have finally recovered to 6,000 nights throughout the prefecture. It was a truly daunting task to provide on-site support for about 6,000 nights, which is half of the 3,000 nights. .. ..At the same time, I also went to the snowy mountains as an exclusive guide for MINT TOUR in Melbourne, Australia, so I am quite busy in the morning and evening as a concierge, responding to various requests from customers and slipping during the day. every day.I was buried in the whirlpool of English while I was in Aizu.

This MINT TOUR is a tour in which legend riders such as Heiki Sosa (yellow wear in the photo) and Elo Ettara also participate as guest guides, and this year Heiki was in Aizu as a resident guide for 6 weeks. The highlight of this year was wrapping the park with legends from the freestyle world who were active in TOYOTA BIG AIR and NISSAN X-TRAIL.Because you can glide right behind the superstar in the video in the park ...Just like a dream ...

It's a little regrettable that I couldn't take the riding cuts that I have left little by little every year because the guide business is busy, but it can't be helped.Due to the influence of working at citywave Tokyo during the summer and autumn, my "muscle pain" has completely disappeared this year.Actually, I was "tired" from time to time, but there was almost nothing so that I couldn't climb the stairs.Because it's a year ...It was a season without making excuses.

It is my pleasure to work to convey the wonderfulness of Aizu to many people. It's been over 15 years since I came to Aizu.Ah ~ It's been 15 years if I noticed.I was even more impressed by the depth of Aizu and Japan, as foreigners sometimes noticed and taught me the charms that Japanese people wouldn't notice.Japan is a really wonderful country! What?
