Interview with Nobuyoshi Nishigun

Nobuyoshi Nishigun, commonly known as Noblin.A dozen years ago, he was active in Niigata and Hiroshima as a professional snowboarder, and he retired from the front line and put a period in his life as a snowboarder.

Then I heard that I was working at my parents' house because of wind rumors, but one day I went shopping at a convenience store and asked for fried chicken, and suddenly I got caught in the naming. "" Bungoya "in Nakatsu City?"
I heard the name from various places, but I learned from my usual daily life that it is expanding nationwide at convenience stores under the supervision of Bungo, and at that time I remembered the old days like a flashback, and I was curious. rice field.
"He was personally adored, and his slip was somehow attractive, but is he still snowboarding?"

He was still snowboarding. And I was very happy to know that I was involved in the snowboarding industry in a different way than before.
This time, we will send you the thoughts of Nobuyoshi Nishigun, commonly known as Noblin, in an interview format.

XNUMX) Mr. Nishigun (hereinafter referred to as Mr. Noblin) was active as a professional snowboarder before. What kind of activities were you doing in which area?

I started snowboarding from skateboarding.I tried it at the recommendation of a friend who was working with junior high school and high school (currently a talented producer of NOVEMVER), but I was completely addicted to it because it was difficult and regrettable despite its appearance.
After that, I went to a vocational school in Hiroshima prefecture and once worked for an apparel company, but my seniors, friends, and shops who were indebted at that time pushed me back, and I quit my job and went to my friend's house to live in Nagano City. I forcibly rolled in (laughs).

Perhaps when I was XNUMX years old with mountains and valleys, I won the runner-up on the All Japan Championship HP and was promoted to a professional. After being promoted, I practiced HP at ARAI Resort and Seki Onsen based in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, which I had been based on since that time, and at the end I moved to Nou Town and did only free runs with Charmant Hiuchi.
Although snowboarding was recognized at the time of promotion, I think that it was not a major ski resort yet, and since I had a contract with a ski resort in Hiroshima prefecture, I went to Hiroshima and Niigata to convey the fun of snowboarding in the Chugoku region. I also came and went.

As a professional, I was initially active mainly in tournaments, but I was sick because I was weak against pressure, and I became less attractive to the professional games at that time, so I gradually decided to leave pictures by shooting. I was putting effort into it.It's an excuse because I didn't win the tournament (laughs)

XNUMX) What made you decide to draw a line as a professional snowboarder and choose a new lifestyle? What kind of thought did Mr. Noblin have at that time?

I retired when I was XNUMX years old.The reason for this was that I witnessed the remarkable performance and slippage of young riders who were younger than XNUMX years old.The number of riders who will lead the next generation has increased, and I felt that it was time for a generational change.

That led me to think about my own direction in the future, and I remember being forced to make a tough choice between living in snowboarding as a living business or living in a completely different field.
It was a time when I was able to get a job of shooting, and I was able to leave a picture that I was satisfied with, so I couldn't give an answer for a long time, but as a result, I was the most shining. I chose to take over the business of my parents' house because I wanted to retire and retire cleanly during the peak period. To be honest, it's beautiful to say that I chose it (laughs), but I also had a sweet idea that I should go home. It's good now, but I can't deny that I was worried about my path as a professional snowboarder when I looked ahead, and I wasn't confident that I would be in the snowboarding industry as a job.

However, it is a fact that I was given guidance (laughs) to the riders of the new generation (old way of saying w) and I thought that I had to give back to my parents who caused a lot of anxiety and trouble, so I decided to retire. I had no regrets about my decision. However, when I turned my back on the mountain and drove to Kyushu, I was lonely.

XNUMX) Did you try snowboarding as a real "hobby" and discover a new kind of snowboarding?

Even after I retired, I went skiing several times a year, but when I got married and had children, I had no time to spare, and due to my busy work, I gradually moved away from the mountains and slipped completely for the past four years. I didn't go to.This may have been good (laughs) I really want to go to the mountains! !!I want to snowboard! !!I was feeling excited.
When that happens, good spirits meet good people, and there are good encounters and reunions through SNS, and I was inspired by a lot and wanted to slip crazy (laughs) I didn't go to the mountains like I used to. I remembered the feelings I had when I first started, such as wanting to go to the mountains and going to the skis, not having to slip or slip.
Therefore, I was able to accept the nature and environment as it was at that time, such as when the snow was good or bad, when the weather was good or bad, and the day I slipped was THE DAY for me.
But can I get a kicker like a punishment game with young kids?I can't fly (laughs) Would you like to go to the park and rub the boxes and rails?Doesn't rub (laughs)
I played desperately on the pipe (laughs). It's a basic free run, isn't it?However, it was because of the unprecedented fun and feeling that I was able to do meaningful snowboarding.

If you look closely, there are many points that you can enjoy on any slope.I was able to corrode the conventional stereotypes and enjoy nature and the environment obediently, so even if I was familiar with the slopes and friends, everything was fresh and looked completely different.
Of course, it can be said that there is no pressure like when I was a player (laughs), but snowboarding and its feelings that I truly enjoy will lead to a feeling of gratitude that I can slip, a wide field of vision, and new relationships and encounters. You found it.

XNUMX) What kind of work are you currently doing?

I work at a butcher shop run by my father.Although it is a young company that has been in business for XNUMX years, it mainly handles meat such as Bungoya beef from Oita prefecture, fresh pork and chicken from Kyushu, and also handles Nakatsu Karaage and handmade side dishes.
Regarding Bungo beef, we purchase calves at the market and take a part of the system from our own ranch to our customers. In addition, since Bungo beef has been carefully raised with all our heart, we are sending out safe, secure and delicious meat as the original brand Bungo beef ~ Hanafusahime ~ two years ago.We are particular about pork from Kyushu, which has a high degree of freshness, and chicken, which is freshly slaughtered chicken that morning.

In addition, during the karaage boom, we have won the most gold prizes in the karaage grand prix and other contests, and we are widely disseminating it from Nakatsu Karaage specialty store Bungoya, which is expanding nationwide, and many customers are enjoying it. ..
Recently, I often go to a karaage shop! It's said, but it's actually a butcher (laughs)

XNUMX) I'm not currently a professional snowboarder, but I'm involved in the snowboarding industry at various events, but why are you still involved?

The benefits of snowboarding are incredible.I wasn't a top player, but I am now thanks to snowboarding. This is because it is the driving force for moving forward by reviewing oneself so as not to step on the same rut again while recalling the mountainous reflection points of the player days. Also, because I am supported by my friends at the time and new friends, I think it is my responsibility to support the snowboarding industry, including giving back.

In my opinion, the industry is stuck in a negative spiral due to the economic downturn, declining popularity, weakened connections, etc., and I can't feel the overall energy.Even if you see the slip that doubts the eyes of active riders. However, it does not mean that the old-fashioned bubbly is fine.
To say that the industry is getting better means that the snowboarders are getting better, and we have to improve individual qualifications and change the level of awareness.Snowboarding isn't just about slipping, it's about having great encounters and reunions through snowboarding, gratitude for the environment around it, learning a lot, whether it's failures or setbacks, and touching on the essence of snowboarding. think.

That is why we continue to participate in and co-sponsor events where end users gather, draw out the added value of a smile that doubles the enjoyment, and continue to be involved with the desire to help create the best memories. We also give strict advice to encourage the riders who support us to aim for even higher heights.
This is because not only the technology but also the improvement of the level of consciousness involves the surroundings, the essence of snowboarding can be widely disseminated, and it leads to rapid propagation. However, I sometimes convey it as an ego with too much momentum, and my support is a double-edged sword, so I convey it because I want to support it seriously, and I also feel pain (laugh)
However, I still want to support him seriously. Now, even with a small amount of force, if one person can move XNUMX cm, if there are XNUMX people, it can move XNUMX cm (laughs). Because it is.

XNUMX) One last word

I think there are a wide variety of people involved in snowboarding, from hobbies to professionals.Whatever the reason for starting, I think it's because it's fun.As a generation that conveys and supports the fun, I will continue to be a snowboarder and continue to be involved until my death.
I sincerely hope that the younger generation will know the pioneers who built the snowboarding scene in Japan, learn the history, gain new food, and lead the snowboarding scene in the future.

NO SNOWBOARD NO LIFE! !!
