On January 2020, 1, a JSSBA-sponsored nico event was held at Hoshino Resort Nekoma Ski Resort.At this event, we also held a test drive event for nico, making it an open-style event that not only existing nico users but also snowboarders can participate in.Ski resorts are not just the place to go skiing!Since it became an event that proposes a new way of playing, I will report on the state of the event on the day.
In the morning, a test drive event for nico was held.Even though it was Saturday morning, more than 30 people experienced it.
From the afternoon, we changed the location and held a mini-game like an athletic meet called "Challenge CUP".
Even if you don't have Nico, you can participate by borrowing a test drive nico, so the percentage of participants is "about 17 nico users" and "about 13 people who have experienced (first experience)". It became a good balance of 30 people.
In the mini-game, there are 6 "free acting" that slides freely in the designated area, "snow flag" that is not a beach flag, "Otama relay", "balloon relay", "tasuki relay", and finally "bread eating competition". We played a competition.
It was nico users who excel in "free acting".They showed us their unique gliding styles that they usually practice.Even those who had never seen it before could see a unique slide, such as trying to imitate the technique and making a splendid turn and sliding down.
In the competitions that followed, I enjoyed the mini-games with a handicap between the nico user and the person who had the first experience in each event. It was a mini-game that can be played only because nico can run freely on the slopes such as "Snow Flag" and "Tasuki Relay".
Someone who participated in nico for the first time on that day commented, "I didn't think nico was such a flexible vehicle. I was tired from running a lot, but I'm glad I participated in the mini game." rice field.
A user who practiced and participated for today also said, "I'm glad I rarely have the opportunity to skate with so many users. I was nervous about free acting and my head went blank during the skate. But I did my best. "He said.
This time, I felt that the mini-game using nico had a little different fun from playing in the snow.The reason is that by taking advantage of the freedom of nico, you can play on the slopes like an athletic meet, such as running, carrying, and grabbing while sliding.Furthermore, by making it an open style that anyone who is snowboarding can participate, I thought that people who normally come to snowboard could make memories of plus α and go home.
